Kumon Math and Reading Center of Lutherville - Timonium

Incredibly kind staff and management. Ms. Nadia was very welcoming and accommodating with our schedule and child’s needs. Very pleased with the improvements we saw in our 1st graders reading and math. Take-home worksheets were a great supplement and helped reinforce content. Location is convenient. Sadly we had to leave the program due to changes in our calendar and availability - but will absolutely come back if/when that changes.

I was reading some reviews and I thought maybe some people might want a inside students persective of Kumon. My parents signed me up for Kumon a while ago wanting me to improve my math and reading skills. To my parents and mines much appreciation Kumon has done just that. Not only am I exeling in math and reading but the people who work there are very instructive and nice. Mrs. Nadia is a great teacher and is very good at helping her students unlock their full knowledge of math and reading. I highly recommend sending your kid here.

We enrolled our 7 year-old son and 10 year-old daughter at this Kumon center in September 2025, and we are so glad that we made that decision. Their math and reading skills have improved greatly this school year, and we have seen the impact on their school work and their performance on school tests. Our younger child in particular is now showing a confidence in his reading skills that he previously lacked, which has been great to witness. The center director is invested in each child’s success and does a great job of guiding and supporting the children in their learning. I recommend this center to anyone who is considering enrolling their child in Kumon.

My seven-year-old daughter has spent the last ten months at this Kumon branch for math tutoring, and it was easily one of the best decisions we’ve made for her. Ms. Nadia is fantastic—she stays completely on top of every student's progress and is incredibly kind. Thanks to her and the team, my daughter has developed a genuine love for math. She’s now mastered her times tables and is comfortably handling vertical three-digit addition and subtraction. The biggest takeaway, though, has been her confidence. Being ahead of her school curriculum has made her enjoy the subject so much more. She was actually quite sad to leave the branch, but we are unfortunately moving out of state. I recommend this location 100%. Miss Nadia and her team are amazing, and I’m certain any parent will have the same great experience we did.

We have been coming to Kumon with Nadja for the past year and it has truly transformed my 5 year old’s life! He went from being speech delayed and struggling to participate in school to now being ahead of his peers and having the confidence to consistently be the first to raise his hand in class. My son was also accepted into every single private school we applied to this year, including the most competitive ones in the Baltimore metro area. We know this could not have happened if it weren’t for Kumon. Nadja is such a wonderful educator who balances setting strong expectations and being caring with the kids. Kids know they need to pay attention and focus and that Nadja is looking out for their best interest. As a parent, I have so much trust in her and she has on occasion counseled me on general parenting challenges just because I needed the help and she cared. In today’s day and age where everything is just a business transaction, Nadja has stood out as someone who rises above the dollars and truly focuses on the success and wellbeing of the kids. We are so happy to have found Kumon, but mostly because of Nadja at this specific Kumon. Thank you, Nadja!

I can’t say enough great things about this Kumon center! It has truly been such a positive addition to our family. My 10-year-old and 8-year-old have been enrolled in the reading program since August 2025, and the improvement I’ve seen has been amazing. My son was even moved to a higher class at school in the middle of the year because of his progress! Their confidence, reading skills, and overall academic performance have grown tremendously. 10 out of 10 — I highly recommend this center!

My daughter transferred from another center. She has improved drastically in a short period of time. Highly recommend this location.

I heard about kumon from my best friend who lives in pa and was absolutely impressed watching her 4 year old daughter reading on a beyond kindergarten level. I did some research and found the one located on york rd next to Best Buy. I scheduled an assessment for my 4 year old son and was a little intimidated by how much I wasn’t teaching him. This had me enroll him right away. Nadia was so sweet and reassuring that I hadn’t honestly dropped the ball with my son. Here we are almost two years later, my son is one of the top readers in his class and blows me away with his math skills. The staff has always been kind and nurturing. It has been, in my opinion, one of the best investments I could have made for my child’s success in school and I highly recommend Nadia and her team to any child who lives in this area.

Kumon was recommended to me as a center to start preparing my daughter for success. Given my work schedule, we went to the Lutherville Center. Best decision!!!! The staff are friendly and welcoming. It was organized. I truly appreciated the open communication about my daughter's progress and goals! I would recommend it wholeheartedly!
