One thing about Jack he is amazing. He cares about his clients ,Get to know his clients, and defends his clients in the best way that he could. I have been dealing with Him for years and not only have he cared for me, He also cared about the well-being of my kids. He is an amazing lawyer, and I wouldn’t trade the time that I spent with him for any other lawyer in the world. Hoping that I would not need him again For anything criminal. But he will be first in line for any accident that I have.
I have had the pleasure of working with Attorney John Bowdren on my CT pardons application. He’s gone above and beyond for me and not to mention, patient waiting for me to get things done on my end. 100% recommend retaining this law firm. I have been represented by 3 of New Haven’s top law firms in the past and this has been by far the best experience. Asked for help since his listing came up on Google ads for early probation termination in CT and even read a whole blog about it on the website... Said he wasn't interested. Nice to reply I suppose, but back to square one.
The Law Offices of Jack O'Donnell is superb. I have experience with both Jack and John Bowdren. John is an exceptional lawyer and handled my criminal cases and got me the best possible outcome. If you need a lawyer and not sure who to pick, just know you will not find a better law firm than this one.
I can no longer recommend Attorney O’Donnell. For years, I trusted him with my CDL-related traffic matters, and he always managed to protect my record. Because of that trust, I hired him for a serious situation where my neighbor assaulted me and I ended up in court for defending myself.
I brought him everything—videos, letters, police reports—clear evidence showing I was being harassed and antagonized long before the incident. None of it was used in court. Not a single piece.
This was my first time ever dealing with criminal court, and despite having a completely clean record, I walked away with probation and a label that now makes me look like a criminal. It’s devastating and completely avoidable.
I trusted him to defend me. If I had known he wouldn’t present the evidence that proved my side of the story, I would have gone to another attorney. Seeing his other clients with far worse charges walk out with lighter sentences than mine lest me feeling unrepresented.
I’m deeply disappointed and will no longer be using his services
