Where do I start. In Oct. of 2019 I thought my world had changed forever. Then Covid, the long process of this SIRVA legal challange. My name is John-Kenry Greene, and I was seeking representation for National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program Case No. 24-1513V involving my son. Our experience with Leah V. Durant & Associates was extremely disappointing. Over an extended period, we were asked to gather and provide additional medical records while we believed our case was still under active review for representation. We relied on that process while trying to navigate an incredibly complex Vaccine Court case as parents without legal representation. Ultimately, the firm did not take our case. By that point, significant time had passed, and we were left to continue litigating on our own. The court later dismissed our case after repeatedly noting the absence of counsel and an expert report. I cannot say what would have happened if we had been represented, but I can say that we relied on the ongoing review process and believed we were moving toward obtaining counsel. When representation never materialized, we were left to face Vaccine Court alone while trying to care for our son, who continues to have neurological issues.
