Dr. Kim is a fantastic optometrist. They're always prompt professional and give quality service and care. I highly recommend her. Their facility is beautiful and the staff is attentive and friendly.
I had a great experience with Dr. Kim. It’s refreshing to find a private practice, every time I went to my last place I saw a different doctor. Her staff was very professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The selection of glasses is also great, I really liked being able to try everything on in person. The office is clean and has good parking.
Unfortunately, this establishment does not give patients the opportunity to choose whether they want to continue receiving care from a particular provider or seek care elsewhere. I was notified via text message that my medical records had been transferred to Dr. Kim’s new clinic. However, I was never given the opportunity to make that decision myself before the transfer took place. I believe patients should be properly notified when a provider is leaving a practice and should be given the opportunity to decide whether they wish to transfer their records, remain with the existing practice, or establish care with another provider. When I called to inquire why I had not been informed beforehand, the receptionist immediately asked me to wait for her manager and the owner to speak with me. Unfortunately, the conversation with the owner was extremely disappointing. He answered the phone without even a simple greeting, immediately spoke over me, and did not allow me an opportunity to explain my concerns. His tone was extremely rude and abrasive, and he appeared ready to provide a response based solely on what his employee had told him rather than listening to the patient involved. Because of his unprofessional approach, I ended the call. When I called back and requested to speak with someone above him, he rudely stated, “I’m the owner, and nobody is above me.” Regardless of ownership, patients deserve to be treated with respect and given the opportunity to make informed decisions regarding their healthcare. I received what appeared to be an automated, impersonal text message informing me that my records had been moved to Dr. Kim’s new clinic and instructing me to schedule an appointment. I found this process extremely unpleasant, unprofessional, and disrespectful of my right as a patient to choose who I want to provide my care going forward. I originally chose Dr. Kim because she practiced at a reputable location, such as LensCrafters, and I trusted the environment in which I initially received her care. I did not agree to automatically follow her to another practice. Patients should not be expected to follow a provider to a new location without being properly notified and given the opportunity to make that choice themselves. The manner in which this situation was handled, including being told that my records “belong to the provider,” was particularly inappropriate and concerning. Medical records and the handling of them should be addressed transparently and in accordance with applicable patient rights and privacy requirements—not presented to a patient as though they have no say in where their care continues. I have absolutely no interest in keeping my records at this new clinic or continuing to receive care there. The interaction with the owner was enough to make me question the level of professionalism and customer service I could expect in the future. Google wouldn't allow me to provide zero star.
Dr Eveleth was great. She was thorough and explained things really well. Was very personable. Will definitely see her again

They are very thorough very nice. My eye doctor was above and beyond and catching some fuzziness in my lenses that I did not know I could go and get taken care of so I give them five stars all day long most eye doctors wouldn’t have caught that they’re very nice and professional in there. I really like that place and the doctor.
