Love this place. Been bringing my son since he was 5 years old. He is now 15 and I can't express how grateful I am to be treated as a family here. Chance is by far the very best! Thank you, my dear friend for all that you've done for my son and my girls. Much love!
I have done martial arts for about 20 years now. When I was looking for a new school to train Karate at, I was very selective. I do not like McDojo (everyone gets a belt without ever fighting for real) or Brojo ("I want to learn UFC") type schools. When I found Legends, I was quickly impressed. Chance Burleson himself is a sharp martial artist that makes class entertaining and engaging. You WILL learn to defend yourself if you stick around. However, you should really judge a martial artist by the other martial artists he trains. The caliber of student he produces are top notch. They are also good people. If you want yourself or a child in your life to be a good fighter to protect themselves and those around them, this is your school. If you want them to be formed into better people capable of also exercising discipline and discernment with the ability to cause harm, this is also your school.
Love visiting to watch my grandson practice. Friendly, taught well, very welcoming.

I enrolled my son in the program this fall and from the moment I walked in, the staff was so friendly and welcoming . My son has learned so much from self defensive to kindness /discipline. I can’t say enough about every single instructor and how well they are trained and love these kids :)They are family to us and we will continue our walk with them even after my son gets a black belt.
