I was referred to Fur Goddess by Jessica Palmatier, a groomer at another facility. She spoke highly of Lesha, claiming she had known her for years and describing her as a pet whisperer who was wonderful with dogs. I trusted her recommendation and contacted the number on the business card she gave me. Come to find out, Jessica was the person booking appointments at Fur Goddess.<br><br>My dog was groomed by Lesha for a while, and everything seemed fine until the bait-and-switch.<br>On the day of his appointment, Lesha specifically told me she would be grooming my dog. Instead, she handed him over to Jessica without my knowledge or permission. When I arrived to pick him up, I barely recognized him. He had been shaved bald in the middle of winter and had red abrasions all over his body. This was NOT the haircut we had agreed upon.<br><br>When I questioned what happened, I discovered that Jessica had groomed him instead of Lesha. Nobody bothered to call or text me about the change in groomers or the decision to shave him completely. Had I known Jessica would be grooming my dog, I would never have agreed to it.<br><br>When I told Jessica I was going to post a review about my experience, she threatened to report me to the police and the Humane Society for neglect, publish photographs of my dog, and accuse me of not paying for his grooming. If I hadn't paid, how was I able to pick up my dog and take him home?<br><br>What started as a recommendation turned into what I consider a bait-and-switch. Jessica referred me to Lesha, booked my appointments, and eventually ended up grooming my dog herself without my knowledge.<br><br>My biggest issue is Lesha's dishonesty and the complete lack of communication. She assured me she would personally groom my dog and then handed him over to someone else without notifying me. When I raised concerns about his condition and said I would write a review, I was met with threats instead of accountability.<br><br>I trusted Lesha with my dog, and that trust was completely broken. I would not recommend Fur Goddess based on my experience.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐<br><br>I brought my rescue dog here for grooming, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He can be very anxious and reactive, and even when I tried grooming him myself, it was always a stressful experience for both of us.<br><br>Lesha did an absolutely amazing job! She was so patient, gentle, and understanding with him, and I could tell he was in good hands. She made what can normally be a very stressful experience so much easier.<br><br>I’m incredibly grateful for the care and patience she showed my rescue pup. He looks fantastic, and I’m so happy we found someone I can trust with him.<br><br>Thank you, Lesha, for taking such great care of him! I will definitely be returning for all of his grooming needs. Highly recommend! ❤️🐾
AMAZING!!!<br>Lesha was so incredibly patient with my reactive pup! She got it done QUICK, too! We were in and out for a nail trim in less than 10 minutes 🤯<br>Highly highly highly recommend to anyone and everyone with dogs and cats that need a good groom every so often! 🐕🐈💕
We adopted a young Dachshund who’s super anxious and has decided that having his nails trimmed is absolutely NOT happening at home. He was growling & trying to bite us every time we tried and we were worried that it was stressing him out even more. I found Lesha’s website looking for groomers who work with anxious & reactive dogs and gave her a text. She got us in the same day and was REALLY great with our dog. Nails were clipped, no one was bitten, and it was quick! Lesha knows her stuff and we will definitely be going back.
They took good care of my cat Clementine! Great haircut, and they paid attention to her mood and behavior. Very nice and professional people, I will be going back!
I am so happy with the great service my dog receives at this salon! He had never been to a groomers before we brought him in and they were very patient with allowing him to adjust to the process. They also have done such a great job making him just the cutest, softest little boy (literally cried when I saw him after his cut because he was so cute 🥹)! I am happy to have found a place that I can trust with the most precious thing in my life!

We didn’t know to what degree of difficulty my rescued from SPCA Tacoma, 6 years old Cocker Spaniel would be. Lesha spent hours to groom him as he continuously challenged her aggressively. I am so grateful for her expertise to accomplish his desperately-needed dematting and all standard care. Two other businesses refused to take him on at all!

Lesha is absolutely incredible! I have a very spicy 6 yr old CKC, who despises being groomed and is typically a nightmare throughout the process. After moving across the country, my biggest concern was finding a new groomer that could handle him, without being sedated. We have been to Lesha twice now and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone who has a little gremlin like mine. She is a gem of human and my dog seems to enjoy her. He was much better for her the second time she groomed him and he always comes out looking fantastic. If you have a difficult pup, I HIGHLY recommend giving Lesha a call!
