Life Training Christian Counseling

This man is a narcissist in his flesh. I went and saw him as a counselor in 2023 and he tore my husband and me apart. He uses "counseling techniques" that are lies! I do thank him for helping me make eye contact better, but that is it. I have general anxiety disorder and OCD. I do believe God warned me not to see him and I didn't listen to the Holy Spirit which is on me. I wanted to call my psychiatrist the second appointment I had with him. If you want a professional counselor this is not it. Dave you know what you did to me, but refuse to take accountability. You think you are this amazing person when you are not. I will leave this review regardless of your response b/c you are a jerk and you hurt me when you are in a position of power and you took advantage of that. Your wife was so wrong when she referred me to you! Ann I hope you check yourself for future clients. It is clear to me that God is using you all. Dave we were a bad match, but the one thing you don't understand is I followed your instructions and because of that I lost my OCD training from a REAL professional that actually helped me. You can say you have two decades of helping people, but you are the worst counselor I have ever seen, since because you lied to me and called it "counseling techniques". I think you should think about which churches approve you and which don't. You can say you don't discuss on the internet then you should let me say how I really feel and my experience was. You do not understand from my perspective b/c you didn't allow me to speak. I would sincerely like peace from you. My last thought is if you don't speak to mental health issues then don't accept clients that have those issues, please leave that to the experts that speak to it! God wants to speak into that space for professionals that are trained and not just Google sponsored. Also it is true you can't due to HIPAA witch most people know is true. You may say what you did to me was Christ centered, but I do do not believe or trust that. Thankfully, God was able to help me process all the hurt you caused through a true Biblical Christian mentor. I doubt you will read this with a humble heart and expect your narcissism to glaze over everything. If you would simply apologize and ask for forgiveness, maybe I would consider taking this down so your blinded sycophants can leave you all the positivity you need to sell your latest book of "counseling techniques".

Terrible counseling. I did marriage counseling with them. Instead of focusing on solutions and really hearing both sides they dogpiled on me said I was desperate and didn't seem to want to hear all of the work I was doing to try and save my marriage. I've never seen somebody hide behind religion like this. The second this guy said it was desperate for trying to save my marriage I just said what a complete joke.

I loved Kayla! She is so patient, kind, compassionate and helps you see the whole picture. She cares about her clients and confidentiality. She always makes time for me and I am forever greatful.

Kayla is absolutely the single best therapist we have ever found. She backs everything biblically and is very educated. She is very one on one and she tries to understand everyone’s perspective. She really seems to care for each and every person uniquely. I would 100% recommend her for any situation and for anyone.

Thank you Dr. Dave for your wisdom and your relationship with Christ that brings such life and hope into each session. I'm grateful that you've encouraged me to reflect on myself and bring all the brokenness and pain to Christ for healing and restoration. It truly has deepened my relationship with Jesus to trust Him in all things that He will finish the work that He started in me. He is a kind and good Father! Dr. and Mrs. Ralston’s love and knowledge for Christ is ever so present and I appreciate their knowledge & expertise. I am so thankful for them and what my husband and I have been exposed to from their counsel. It is heavy but necessary; soooo grateful!

Truth and grace

Kayla has been absolutely wonderful and has done a great job at putting things into perspective. She has been extremely empathetic, considerate, and compassionate. She is wise beyond her years and God is doing great works through her!

Dr. Dave helped me dig down to the root of some issues I was having. We had many great discussions, and may have more in the future if I ever need to call on him again. Solid biblically-based counseling for everyday Christian living. Highly recommended!
