We have used Lightning Bug Electric for four different projects over the last several years. The entire operation is fantastic. From the office staff of Ashley, Heather and Kelsey to all of the technicians like James, Steven, Tyler, Marcus and Hunter, we have received the most professional, friendly and competent service. All of the scheduling and work has been excellent.
Our original contact several years ago with Bobby who was then a service advisor convinced us to use Lightning Bug for an exterior lighting project. We then had a tree fall on our power line at our second home and they went outside of their service area to get the repair done quickly. Bobby also pointed out a dangerous condition at that home’s breaker box, which we also had them repair.
Next was our kitchen and bathroom remodels with installation of all new lighting that really modernized and upgraded those spaces. And recently we worked with Cody, a service adviser, to repair wiring (not installed by Lightning Bug!) that caused a floodlight to burn out and tripped the breaker controlling our HVAC on an unseasonably hot day. Cody and then the technicians were at our home within an hour and had the repair done very quickly. I was very pleased with the quick response and excellent advice from Cody.
Lastly, Becca, who handles billing, called me to answer a billing question and adjust our bill, saving us money on the recent work. I remembered her from our first use of the company several years ago and she was as friendly and competent now as then. In fact, as best I can tell, employees at Lightning Bug stay because it is a good company to work for. (And Bobby has been promoted and is now over field operations!)
All in all, I highly recommend Lightning Bug Electric. What a great company to work with!
(Note: We have paid considerably more than $5000 over all the projects we have done with Lightning Bug. They are worth every penny!)

It was no small expenditure, but having our Generac generator installed was important to our well being. Lightning Bug continued to OVER DELIVER with their communication and customer focus before their five person crew arrived right on time yesterday morning. They listened, explained each step and worked as a team. No breaks for lunch or the bathroom over the 11 hours they were here. There were some surprises in our near 5-year old home and they met all of them with their experience and desire for perfection. Frankly, left our home in better condition than when they arrived...sweeping, wiping, and checking every square inch they covered. Beyond a wonderful experience with them...Taylor, Leo, Matthew Kaden and Jasmine. Heather called and texted several times during the day...telling us they were on their way, checking in to see how things were going. Now we're only faced with the bittersweet thought of power going on in our neighborhood, yet know our system will keep us cool/warm and all utilities purring along if/when that happens. They didn't charge any penalty for credit card use and their prices were competitive. Today provided a detailed list of projects we need to consider to keep our house safe and up to code. Bravo Lightning Bug. Many thanks.

We are so grateful that Lightning Bug was able to help repair several of our outlets! Christian and Preston were very kind and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions about the outlets. They went above and beyond, searching for the source of our electrical problem and eventually uncovering an incorrectly installed outlet. I feel much better knowing that our outlet is correctly wired. Very grateful for their help and will definitely use Lightning Bug again.

We have used them in the past but never again. We had an appointment booked for today with a window from 10 AM to 1 PM. I took off work and waited 3 hours. 1 PM came no call no tech. I called the company. The rep told me that a tech would contact me between 2 PM and 5 PM. I had to call them and did not receive a professional reply. I was not about to book another appt between 2 PM and 5 PM. Who knows what day or week they would actually come. I canceled our appt and will not use them in the future. The owner needs to know if he does not already know that this is a very disorganized and unprofessional organization. From one vet to another, get your act together.
