Lindeblad School of Music

Our daughter has had an amazing experience with Lindeblad School of Music for the past five years. Dr. Mijung has been an exceptional teacher and mentor, preparing her for Trinity examinations and recitals with great dedication and care. She started with in-person lessons and continued seamlessly with online classes when our family moved out of New Jersey. The entire staff at Lindeblad has been wonderful and incredibly accommodating, especially when it comes to working around our busy schedules. Their flexibility, professionalism, and genuine commitment to their students have made a tremendous difference. We are truly grateful for the guidance, encouragement, and support our daughter has received over the years. Lindeblad has been an important part of her musical journey, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience

Great teachers. Everyone is very friendly.

Awesome school, facilities and instructors. Craig has been my daughter’s ukulele teacher for 6years and she is now wanting to have him teach her how to play the guitar! We had a fun experience watching my daughter perform at Just Jake’s in Montclair for a summer music event that the school arranged. What a great experience that was!

Lindeblad School of Music is the most amazing music school! My twin sons have attended from age 4 and are now graduating high school this Spring. We intend to continue our piano study even while attending college because the school is so phenomenal. Ms Basia and Dr Kyriacos are fantastic, thorough, professional and compassionate and are very inspirational to my sons. They adapt and encourage, provide very effective instruction and a complete understanding of all aspects of the music. The boys look forward to their piano lessons every week and all of the recital and workshop opportunities. Also, Dr Vogel has been very instrumental in the search for the right University program and the entire application process. Together with their teachers, they provided their expertise, knowledge, time and encouragement in compiling video audition material and guided us through the process. The staff is responsive, helpful, professional and also personable. The school is absolutely spectacular in every way!!

This is such a fantastic school! My 7 year old has been attending here for 2 years and he loves it. The staff is very friendly and courteous and most importantly, THEY ARE GOOD!! They accommodate my schedule as I travel often and they even teach adults as well as I studied piano here myself for a second. Lindeblad is the best music school in New Jersey hands down! 💪🏾🙏🏾✊🏾

Our son has been at Lindeblad for almost 3 years and has loved it since day 1! He looks forward to his lesson every week. His instructor Ms. Lisa is great! She is so kind and patient, and does a wonderful job at helping him advance his piano skills. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful. We are very happy with our experience at Lindeblad and highly recommend it to everyone!

Lindeblad is incredible. Both my kids have been going there for about 4 years now piano/voice/guitar lessons or summer camp. The teachers are extremely dedicated, the staff are friendly and accommodative to our busy schedules and always work with families to make music learning as convenient as possible. There are several opportunities throughout the year for students to grow and perform in front of an audience through recitals, performance workshops etc. My kids have also thoroughly enjoyed their summer camps. Highly recommend!!

good school for music learning!

We’ve tried multiple classes here with different teachers. All of them have been great. If you want to introduce your kids to instruments or voice lessons, this is a good place. Quite a few recitals through the year as well.

I attended Lindeblad School of Music and cannot speak highly enough about this locally, family-owned business. The owner, teachers and staff are exactly what you'd want in a music school. The very esteemed music director (Dr. Shiho Vogel) and other teachers are highly trained and very skilled. I started taking private piano lessons as an adult with no musical background and quickly reached 4th-year skill level in less than a year. The lessons and methodology were catered to my learning style and goals. Not only did I receive a first-class musical education and experience, but they treated me like I was part of the family. My family has known the Lindeblads for decades and they are extremely honest, ethical and caring. Customer Satisfaction is always their number 1 priority, and you can count on them to make sure you’re taken care of. I highly recommend LSM for musical education for everyone of all ages, goals and experience levels.
