If I could leave 100 stars I would for lion legal. every single employee there is exceptional. I mean, I called this a dream team of lawyers and paralegals, they get back to you right away and address all your concerns. Having line legal was the best decision I ever made. They took a huge weight off of our shoulders.that seemed overwhelming and scary at times. John is hands down one of the best attorneys I’ve ever worked with. His work ethic and advocacy is very noted. Hats off to you guys thank you for all you do.

My experience with this firm was frustrating, and the handling of my case leading up to trial was where things really became unacceptable. I would give zero stars if possible.
Communication with the attorney I had been working with essentially fell off a cliff after our trial preparation appointment. After spending months communicating with the same attorney and preparing my case with her, that communication became almost nonexistent at the point when it mattered most.
Approximately an hour and a half before trial, the firm called me to inform me that a completely different attorney—someone I had never spoken to—would be representing me. Only after that did they try to tell me that they had sent two emails notifying me of the change. I never received either email in my inbox, spam folder, or anywhere else. To note, I’d had zero issues receiving emails from this firm throughout the entire time I had been working with them, so being told after the fact that they had supposedly sent two separate notices was extremely suspicious.
Yes, I understand that my contract stated I was represented by a “team.” That does not make it reasonable or professional to switch the attorney handling a court hearing at the very last moment after a client has spent months communicating, preparing, and discussing strategy with someone else.
The attorney who ultimately appeared with me repeatedly assured me that she was prepared. Unfortunately, what happened in court did not match those assurances. She did not present or handle my case the way I had discussed with the attorney I had actually prepared with, and I walked away feeling as though much of the time and money I had spent explaining my case and preparing for trial was completely wasted.
My confidence in her attention to detail only declined further after the hearing. During later communication, she clearly did not know the difference between quotation marks and parentheses. Normally I would consider a minor grammatical mistake to be just that—a mistake. But when it comes from an attorney whose job revolves heavily around precise language, documents, and interpretation, it becomes much harder to dismiss.
And the lack of attention to detail continued further. When the firm finally mailed my refund check, they misspelled my married last name on the envelope. Then I opened it and discovered that they had not even managed to put my correct FIRST name on the check. My name is Julia. They made the check payable to “Julie.”
At some point, these things stop feeling like isolated mistakes and start looking like a pattern of poor communication, poor preparation, and careless attention to detail.
Legal representation is expensive. Clients should not have to wonder whether their attorney will disappear before trial, whether the lawyer who shows up has actually prepared the case they discussed, or whether the firm can successfully copy their name onto a check.
Based on my experience, I absolutely would NOT trust this firm with another legal matter.

We are shocked, both by the fact that you are frustrated that we achieved the exact outcome that we predicted was reasonably possible, and by your implication that a typographical error on a check from our Financial Department in any way reflects the preparation or quality of our legal services.
We would be happy to provide some clarity.
- Communication: Following your trial preparation appointment, no further communication was required until trial. Restricting non-essential contact between preparation and court is a standard practice designed to keep client costs down, and resulted in a larger account balance refund for you in the end. Our records show no unreturned inquiries from you during that timeframe.
- Attorney Assignment: As discussed during your trial preparation appointment, and in the client agreement you signed prior to hiring Lion Legal, we operate as a team. Multiple attorneys and paralegals collaborate on matters, and we determine who handles which aspects of cases based on who is best suited under the circumstances. We confirmed in advance (at your client trial preparation appointment) which experienced family law attorney would represent you at trial. The attorney who ultimately represented you in court was fully prepared to handle your matter. Unfavorable or frustrating legal outcomes are not a reflection of an attorney's preparation or competence.
- Outcome: The possible outcomes of any legal matter are governed by Arkansas law as applied to the specific facts of your case. During our trial preparation, we discussed how the law applied to your evidence and outlined the realistic scenarios. The court's ruling aligned with the best-case scenario we anticipated. While we may not always agree with the existing statutes, our duty is to achieve the best result legally achievable under the law.
We appreciate the opportunity to clarify these matters and wish you the best moving forward.

I have worked with Lion Legal on multiple occasions and for very different situations, including both personal/family matters and business-related legal matters. Over that time, I’ve had the opportunity to work with multiple attorneys and interact with several members of their team, and I have consistently had a positive experience.
One thing that really stands out to me about Lion Legal is that it truly feels like a full team. Everyone I’ve interacted with—from the attorneys to the staff at the front desk—has always been kind, professional, welcoming, and willing to help. Even when I’ve called with questions, I’ve felt listened to and treated with respect.
