We had our baby photos done with Lindsay a while back and I still find myself scrolling through the gallery all the time. She has such a warm, calming presence that made the whole session feel completely stress-free, which is honestly exactly what you need as a new parent. To fully describe the incredible experience I’ve had with Lindsay at LiveJoy Photography would take years at this point. My first session with her was six years ago when she did the maternity photos for my first son. Since then, she’s done his newborn session, milestone photos, maternity and newborn sessions for my second son, his milestone photos, family photos, and holiday photos. I’ve lost count at this point of how many sessions we’ve done together, but each and every one has been incredible. Each session has left me in tears of joy and gratitude when I look through our gallery. I don’t know how she does it, but she makes everything look effortless and natural. You’d never know the chaos my two boys were creating on the sidelines.
Everything always feels easy from the start. For both sets of newborn photos, once my babies arrived, I felt completely comfortable. As a newborn photographer, she’s calm, confident, tender, and so good with babies. Watching her work is amazing. Her studio is a dream and so relaxing to be in. It’s like a little oasis in the blurry first weeks of newborn life.
I’m in Salem, Oregon, and having someone like her nearby is something I will never take for granted. If you’re looking for a newborn photographer anywhere in the Willamette Valley, from the Portland area down to Eugene or anywhere in between, I definitely recommend her.
At this point, my home is filled with framed photos she has done for us. I get compliments on them all the time and it brings me such immense joy to see them every day.
Lindsay is truly the best.

Lindsay with LiveJoy Photography is truly amazing. She helped capture newborn and family photos for us in her professional, well equipped, and comfortable home studio. Being freshly postpartum, I was nervous to take family photos but Lindsay made me feel so comfortable and helped me find flattering poses. I am very pleased with the final product and know we will treasure the photos she captured forever!
