Layla truly came to the rescue with a UIT issue with my kitty. Her own experience and love of cats made the conversation so easy. She understood their picky eating ways and sensitivities. She recommended Adored Beast Easy Peesy I & II along with some of the Herbsmith Kidney Care. We are about a day in with the Adored Beast and I have a new cat (AND she is back to using her liter box). I love this store! I love their holistic knowledge and in stock kitty pharmacy. I literally drive an hour and a half because there simply is no one else that helps with solid solutions when our furbabies are feeling sick.

I love this shop so much. I drive all the way from Roger’s Park to shop there. The amount of help and knowledgeable the staff, and especially David have been able to provide for me and my cat’s family quality of life is something I’ll forever be grateful for. Thank you.

I am a disabled veteran. I went there hoping to get a bowl of dog food. The staff was knowedge and exceeded my expectations.i would highly recommend them . Sincerely James PANAGAKOS.

The people currently working here have a significant difference in their level of knowledge and experience. I've worked with David in the past, and he has consistently been able to answer my questions. However, the last few times I've come in and asked questions, the two gentlemen whose names I believe are Eli and Ric were unable to provide satisfactory answers or guidance. As a result, I had to figure things out on my own or wait until someone else was available to help. They need have more consistent product knowledge and training across the whole team in order to better be able to help customers.

Eli and Ric are about 4 months in, and while we're actively training them, we also always have senior staff on shift to help with more complex questions. We're sorry you weren't connected with someone right away.

They have all the brands that I was looking for such as Tiki Cat, Green Juju, Savage Cat among others. Primarily, there are quality organic products. Excellent service!

Been going here for the last 8years and they have never steered my CaliGirl or I wrong. They even helped us solve an issue my dog was having that ours vets couldn’t. Super knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly!

Owner means well but was condescending on 3 separate occasions. She pushes raw food intensely, which is great. But if someone expresses concern over the price of raw food, if one truly cares about animals, they’d recommend that you can also make your own raw food much cheaper at home (as I do now). I’d like to support this small shop, but every time Liz is there, it is uncomfortable.

Liz’s focus on raw nutrition comes from a place of her deep passion for pet health, but we appreciate the reminder that the way we share that information is just as important as the information itself.
We have no problem with customers making their own food at home! Our only priority is ensuring that those diets are fully balanced so that no vital nutrients are missed over time. We stock commercial raw to provide a guaranteed balanced option for those who need it, but we respect the effort it takes to do it correctly at home.
