Zoe and Daren were absolutely amazing - we could not recommend them enough! We did the trail ride with Zoe which was our first experience and she was just great, we had the best time! We then did the ATV with Daren and what a Cowboy he is! Would 100% recommend visiting the Lonestar ranch if you visit Austin and ask for Zoe and Daren. Thank you both so much!
We had such a wonderful experience at Lone Star Ranch yesterday! From the moment we arrived, the young lady at the front desk was warm and welcoming, and the instructors were friendly, patient, and very helpful throughout the entire experience.My horse was Ziggy, and my husband rode Batman. Both horses definitely had their own personalities, which made the experience even more memorable! As beginners, we really appreciated the guidance and reassurance from the instructors, who made sure we felt comfortable and knew what we were doing.The trail was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and we had plenty of opportunities to capture some lovely memories. We also appreciated the complimentary drinks and the overall hospitality.It was such a fun and memorable experience for my husband and me, and we’re so glad we decided to do it. Thank you to the entire Lone Star Ranch team for making our visit special. Highly recommended!
The best experience ever. Wow. If you’re looking forward to an authentic experience as advertised this is for you. I was lucky enough to come to lone star ranch. It was brilliant. The people working there are warm and welcoming I could have spoken with them for hours. Loved every second of it and highly recommend you to come here The instructions and assistance is second to none especially with the horses and the route you take through the countryside is just fantastic Lucky and Poncho were our horses and they were the best! Thanks so much lone star. I will come back one day and do this again, along side other things you have to offer.
We visited back in June and were tossing up between this place and another riding farm nearby, and we are SO glad we chose this one! The whole farm is absolutely beautiful, all of the staff were incredibly friendly, and the owners are such a lovely family. You can genuinely tell how well cared for the horses are, which made the experience even more special. We booked an hour long ride but ended up staying for almost three hours. The service was so welcoming and personal, and they gave us so many fantastic, non-touristy recommendations for Austin. We were honestly so sad we didn’t have time go visit again, otherwise we would have absolutely gone back for another ride. Such a beautiful place with wonderful people, we couldn’t recommend it enough! ❤️
A little disorganized at the beginning but they got it together and we ended up having a fabulous excursion. Everyone was patient, lovely and cared about safety first.
The Lonestar Ranch was beautiful and the sunset ride with Ava was lovely. The horse horses are well cared for and loved. It was a wonderful way to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and I got to check the box for a New Yorker riding a horse in Texas!

Had a wonderful time at the Ranch everyone was so friendly, horses beautiful and well cared for. Our wrangler Ester was amazing and Sweet as could be, she was very kind and gentle with all the horses, She really respects the horses! she really has a sweet personality. Thank you for a wonderful sunset ride it was very relaxing and enjoyable!
Great location for events! We enjoyed a (corporate) evening on the ranch! Good dinner, fire pits all around, and multiple activities including some animal encounters.
Esther was the Absolute best Tour guide ever!!!
