We had a great experience working with Gaylan and Lonestar Backyards and Buildings on our detached garage and fire pit! From the first meeting, he was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He walked us through the process, clearly explained the scope of work, and kept us updated on each stage and when crews would arrive.
He paid attention to matching the garage to our home, including the brick, stone, and roof. When the initial roofing material wasn’t the right match, he handled the correction without any hassle and had it resolved the next day.
The work moved quickly, and we’re so happy with the finished results. We now have a beautiful detached garage and fire pit to enjoy. Highly recommend Gaylan and his team!

Lonestar Backyards and Buildings exceeded all our expectations with their recent work on our property. From the very beginning, their team was professional, communicative, and attentive to every detail. The garage they built for us is truly fantastic—spacious enough to easily house our camper, with plenty of room to maneuver and store additional gear. The electric hookups they installed are a game-changer, making it so much easier to keep our camper ready for our next adventure.
The quality of construction is evident in every aspect of the garage, from the sturdy materials to the flawless finish. The crew kept the worksite clean and organized, and the project was completed on schedule, which we really appreciated.
We’re equally impressed with the beautiful fence that now encompasses our backyard. It provides the perfect blend of privacy and style, and the craftsmanship is second to none. The fence has truly transformed our outdoor space, making it more secure and enjoyable for our family and pets.
Throughout the entire process, Lonestar Backyards and Buildings kept us informed and involved, answering all our questions and making sure we were happy with every decision. Their dedication to customer satisfaction really sets them apart.
We couldn’t be happier with the results and would highly recommend Lonestar Backyards and Buildings to anyone looking for quality construction, attention to detail, and outstanding service. Thank you for making our vision a reality!
Gaylan & Amy with Lonestar Backyards & Buildings walked us through the entire process and were AMAZING, they explained every step and were at our home almost daily during the building process to make sure we were happy with the progress and were willing and able to answer any questions we might have. We could call them anytime day or night. Our detached garage with patio was finished in Aug 2025 and we still hear from them letting us know that if we need anything adjusted or just touch up paint to just let them know and they will take care of it. The job turned out better than we could have expected and they made us feel like family. 5 Stars is not enough, I will call them back for any future projects. Call them today, you won't be sorry.

Lonestar did an amazing job with our backyard shed! The planning was detailed, the workers were professional, the timeline was quick, and the work was impeccable! Thank you Gaylan!
Gaylan and his team did an excellent job building our detached garage/shop with attached patio space and was able to handle and implement a couple last-minute changes during the construction process without question. His team were all easy to work with and friendly when confronted with questions about the process or issues that arose during construction. All that combined with fair pricing, I won't hesitate to contact him again when we expand the patio!
Gaylan and his team added the Odyssey to our yard, enhanced our flagstone deck, installed a rooftop and added lighting to our pergola. We are extremely pleased with his Team's work and look forward to enjoying our patio this summer!

1 year update: Hey Lonestar Team! Just wanted let you guys know, our family has had amazing memories made already and I've been really enjoying the separate space for my work. The Japanese style sliding doors you suggested for the office have created an amazing atmosphere and jaw dropper for our guests :D.
