What started out as a desperate attempt to find something for the kids to do during Covid turned out to be one of the best things for them! We met Drew when they were doing online guitar lessons and then started coming to the house. Drew has taught my son guitar for 6 years and my daughter guitar for a year and now drums for almost 2 years. He’s an exceptional teacher! They have learned so much and he is also patient, kind and laid back and we appreciate his student centered focus. Outside of lessons LRS has opened up a whole world of opportunity for them. My kids have been involved in different bands and playing in real venues on stage, open mic nights, special sessions, summer band camp, student council and LRS parties. This is a wonderful gem of a place! All of their other band leaders and coaches have been amazing too. The kids have made great friends and have been encouraged to participate in everything the school has to offer..it truly feels like we are part of an LRS family!

My six-year-old has been taking guitar lessons with Howard for about two months, and we couldn’t be happier! He has been incredibly patient and wonderful with her, and she has learned so much in such a short time. She continues to be excited about playing guitar and has demonstrated growing focus, attention, and perseverance. We’re so grateful for Howard’s encouragement and the positive impact he’s had on her musical journey!

We have had an amazing time at LMS. We took music classes at other music schools and feel fortunate we landed here. Our 9 year old plays drums and guitar, plays in a band, and comes to the rock camp in the summer. Five stars. Do recommend.

LMS isn't just a place to take music lessons—it’s a true community where everyone embraces the joy of learning and growing as musicians! My family and I have been attending for years. I’ve taken guitar, sax, and drum lessons, while my kids have taken bass, piano, guitar, and vocals. Beyond individual lessons, my daughters have participated in Rock School—forming a band, coming up with a band name, working with coaches, and performing live on stage! Watching them perform has built a level of confidence and public presence that will serve them for the rest of their lives. We also love participating in the school's open mic nights as a family. It’s where the community really shines, with everyone cheering on artists at every stage of their journey. The teaching staff is top-notch and highly qualified. Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, I highly recommend joining the LMS community!

We absolutely love this music class! Mr. Justin is an exceptional teacher who has a true gift for working with children. He is incredibly patient, engaging, and has a wonderful way of making every child feel included, regardless of their age or ability level. He creates such a fun, encouraging environment that naturally sparks children’s interest and love for music. My son looks forward to class each week, and we’ve loved watching his confidence, participation, and enthusiasm for music continue to grow. If you’re looking for a music class where your child will learn, have fun, and be taught by someone who genuinely cares about children and their development, I cannot recommend Mr. Justin enough. We are so grateful for the positive impact he’s had on our son and our family!

Great teachers who fostered my children’s love of music. Their summer rock camps are fantastic. Mr. Connor and Ms. Jasmine are awesome! We will be back! Rock on!
