Several friends highly recommended Luu Auto Repair, and after my own experiences, I understand why. He is straightforward, considerate, and honest about what truly needs to be done. On a previous visit, I asked whether my tires needed to be replaced, and he told me they did not. This time, I brought my car in because the A/C was not cooling properly. He recharged the system, added leak detection dye, and explained that I could return for a free leak check if the cooling weakened again. Although his schedule only allowed time for the A/C service that day, he still made an effort to address my additional questions. He also checked whether I was due for an oil change and told me it was not needed yet. In my experience, he never recommends unnecessary repairs or services. His honesty, practical approach, and efficient service have earned my trust. Highly recommended!

He deserves all 5 stars and more. He took a moment from his busy day, after I explained my issue, raised my hood and pointed directly to the problem! Had my car fixed in 20 min and even test drove it before giving it back! Car is back to normal!

First time working with Luu’s for my 2011 Honda CRV. Selected based on volume of high ratings and customer comments. Significantly lower cost compared to the dealership (not what they once were). Fixed three oil leaks, trans fluid service and rear brake pads and rotors - monitoring now. Be prepared to leave your car for a few days. No frills. They will secure your car behind a locked gate. Alert: Please be aware of a hazard (a cement water inlet / utility hole 2-3 feet in diameter) between Lamar and the grassy area near the outside parking in front of the shop if you are looking for a place to pull off, park or turnaround. It can be overgrown with grass and you won’t see it from the road or shoulder. Your car can fall into the hole and it might not come out without damage. Reported to City of Austin.

My experience at luu’s auto repair was amazing. Don was very informative and helpful throughout the whole process and helped me get the best care for my car without breaking the bank.
