Many women treat themselves to a spa day, a girls' night out, or some other special indulgence. I, on the other hand, decided to treat myself to something that had become long overdue: having Maid For You come into my home to clean those nooks and crannies that I had been unable to tend to while caring for family members with serious health conditions over the years. When Shannon finished her work, I experienced a feeling I hadn't felt in quite some time. After spending so many years caring for others, I'm learning that it's okay to put myself on the list, too. It was more than having a clean home; it was a sense of renewal, relief, and the wonderful realization that I could once again make room in my life for my own needs and happiness. Shannon didn't simply clean my home; she helped me take a step toward a new chapter in my life, one in which I can spend less time worrying about what needs to be done and more of the freedom to enjoy the little pleasures in life that I've put aside for quite some time. Thank you all for helping me make this dream come true and providing me with the "NO JUDGEMENT ZONE" I was most in search of. You have no idea how much it means to me!
