I like all the coaches at Main Street Mission Valley but my daughter likes coach Taylor. She likes her good teaching technique, how nice she can be, and how relatable she is. She also likes her because she can help her improve her swimming while still having fun at the same time.
Absolutely the worst experience ever. Upon arriving at the swim school inside LA Fitness, we were told my daughter wasn’t on the class list. I showed the employee my CONFIRMATION EMAIL with the correct location, date, and time. She apologized and explained that someone had forgotten to add my daughter to the roster, so she wasn’t allowed to join the class. I had already bought all the supplies she needed, and she was so excited to start. Instead, she had to stand there in her swimsuit watching all the other kids swim while she couldn’t get in the water. She cried the entire way home. On top of everything, the parking lot is a nightmare. It’s shared between the gym and a multi-story residential building, so it’s very difficult to find parking. Also, if you need to contact the swim school before class, the call center doesn’t open until 10:00, so you’re basically on your own. Please stay away from this place unless you want to be highly disappointed.

I needed to come here to write a review about coach Mirage. My little one started school on 2024 and his start was tough. He was always crying and very scared on the water, but coach Mirage was always very patient and sweet while teaching him basic skills. He is not a super swimmer yet, but now he enjoys playing in the water and he has more confidence as well. Our family truly appreciate coach Mirage and the manager Bonnie as well.

Mirage has been a great swim instructor for my grandson. We switched up whenever she had openings in her classes and shes been teaching him since he was 3 years old and now he's 5 and doing Amazing!!

I want to say going on 3 years now, Coach Mirage knows how to balance fun with structure, so the kids are learning important skills while still enjoying every class. You can tell she genuinely cares about each swimmer’s progress and safety. She takes the time to give individual attention and celebrates even the small improvements, which builds so much confidence. I’ve seen such growth in my children’s swimming skills and comfort level thanks to her dedication. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, knowledgeable, and great with kids, main street swim is the place to take your kids. Love Coach Mirage is the one! Highly recommend! 🌊💙

We love Main Street Swim! Our sons’ instructors (Mirage for our 1yr old and Kaia for our 3 yr old) are amazing! We have been going for several years now and it’s always a positive experience.
My now 3 year old has made great progress and gained confidence with his swimming through Main Street swim. He adores his instructor, Kaia, and often talks about her progress throughout the week looking forward to his weekly class. Kaia at the best!

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Mainstream Swimming School for my son. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and truly care about each child’s progress. My son has become more confident in the water and looks forward to every lesson. The staff is friendly and professional, and the environment feels safe and supportive.
