Extremely fast turn around . Price was in line . They were very detailed with explaining my vehicles situation. Will return for more work . Highly recommended
I will start by saying that I am not one who frequently reviews any establishment, and the few reviews I have left have been when I have was dissatisfied. Following that, I will share that I am exceedingly wary of mechanic shops.

I feel compelled, however, to share glowing praise for Major Minor Auto Service and Kevin Minor, as the level of professionalism and customer service matched that of my hometown mechanic, and long time family friend, Jude Pellerin, in Sunset, Louisiana.

My wife’s car had an issue that required specialized parts that despite 2-3 hours of searching online, I could not find (and I am a fairly skilled mechanic myself who has never had any issue with finding parts). After dropping it off at Major Minor, Kevin Minor kept up regular and responsive communication and bent over backwards to find the right parts. Instead of having them delivered the next day, like most other mechanics would have done, he drove over two hours to get them himself. And when all was done, despite the extra hours it took him to find and get the parts, the invoice was within $20 of what my hometown mechanic said he would do it for if the car was in his shop (and remember he’s a family friend that has serviced and repaired my vehicles, my parents, and all of my siblings’ cars for over 35 years).

Nothing but the highest praise for Kevin and Major Minor Auto Service.
They figured out specific problem in my wiring harness and figured out exact issue with my car saved bunch of money dealership was asking to fix it. Really communicative and great service.
Shadman, we really appreciate you taking the time to leave this review. That was a tough one to track down, and we’re glad we were able to pinpoint the issue and get you taken care of without unnecessary repairs. Thank you for trusting us with your vehicle—we’re always here if you need anything.
Excellent and professional service! Always great work for a fair price. Highly recommended!
Amazing guys, wonderful service, great work. It took me a while to write this just to make sure my car still worked. It does lol. Thanks guys. If you have any car issues, bring it here.
Kevin is the most honest mechanic I have ever encountered. Grateful!
I usually work on my own cars until its something until i cant handle, brought my car to kevin & he did a very thorough job at testing & figuring out what the issues were instead of throwing parts at car 10/10 i never do reviews but i highly recommend anyone to bring your car here
My alternator went out in my car. Mr. Kevin went above and beyond with the repair of my car. He waited for my car to be towed to his shop, the day after Christmas, stayed after hours repairing the car, charged a very fair price and did an exceptional job. I will definately be using and recommending Mr. Kevin for repairs. It's hard to find an honest, kind and considerate person. Mr. Kevin is a very exceptional person.
The reviews are true. Very honest mechanic.
Kevin is the absolute best! (Consistently goes above and beyond ).
Thanks so much, Annie! It’s always a pleasure taking care of your vehicle. I really appreciate your trust and kind words — customers like you make what I do worthwhile. Thanks again for your continued support!
