My child had the pleasure of working with Ms. Angel And we both absolutely adore her! Ms. Angel has been so kind, so flexible (to all of my crazy schedule changes) and so informative. She worked with my child, even conducting virtual appointments when he went on summer break. There are literally no bad words or thoughts that could ever come to mind when talking about Making Waves. While we worked directly with Ms. Angel, the whole staff is welcoming, respectful and kind. We were blessed to even make friends right in the waiting room, the whole vibe and ambience is top tier. Although my child graduated just recently, it’s a bittersweet moment because we will for sure miss seeing Ms. Angel’s smiling face weekly. We’ve been seeing Ms. Alex for several months now and we couldn’t be happier with her help. Shes fantastic with my high energy son and meets him where he is when he comes in. Shes very knowledgeable and is great at communicating her thoughts and recommendations. I am grateful and thankful for our experience here. Setting up the appointment, I spoke with the owner which was quick, easy and an informative experience.

We have had a great experience so far with my 2 year old and our speech therapist, Ms. Alex. My son enjoys going to his sessions and I’ve noticed a big improvement in just a few months! Their office is centrally located and has plenty of parking available. Highly recommend if you are considering speech therapy for your little one!

All of the therapists are respectful and nice. We love our therapist Ms. Alex. She has help our child come a long way in a short amount of time. She is very communicative about next steps and very accommodating to appoint changes if needed. We travel an hour just to see her.

My son has been seeing Alex at Making Waves for a year now and has made a ton of progress we weren’t sure we would ever see ◡̈ he loves seeing her every week and she’s amazing with him. They also helped us get him a device and made the process easy for us. Thank you guys for all you do.

My son would get very upset when it came to doing his reading homework. I knew something wasn’t right so I looked into having him evaluated for reading difficulties. Alex has been wonderful from evaluating him to seeing him weekly. He has really improved with her help!

Making Waves has gone above and beyond to help my ten-year old son this year. My son gave me a quote, “she helps me learn how to talk to people and gives me confidence”. We are very grateful!

Ms. Alex (Speca) is amazing, and the entire team at Making Waves Speech Therapy are incredible. Our son needed some extra assistance with articulation and sounds, and Ms. Alex went above and beyond. Not only did Making Waves put in the effort and went to our sons preschool and worked around our schedules, but they are truly so talented with their care and approach with kids. I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone! And, the team also worked with us with insurance paperwork and have a great system in place for appointment reminders. Making Waves/Ms. Alex was incredible at keeping us informed, especially since we didn't see her since she went to our son's preschool for his appointments. You will not get a more caring team with the experience, wisdom, and expertise needed! Ms. Alex set our son up for success, as he is reading and writing, and even more advanced than we would have ever expected. All this is because Ms. Alex (and the excellent preschool team) helped him process how to read syllables and sounds, and to become more independent when figuring out speech/reading.

Ms. Nicole has been an integral part in the building of my son's language. He has a language processing disorder and she gave us the tools to help engage him. We started at a time when my son only phrases and bits and pieces. Now he is asking and answering questions, he is more social and happy. The language and communication we have been able to build together as a team has changed our family and we are so grateful that we found her.
