If you haven’t participated in a cooking class at Marcel’s Culinary Experience, you’re missing one of the most enjoyable experiences in the western suburbs. The chef begins by demonstrating how to prepare a delicious multi-course meal, and attendees then have the opportunity to practice the techniques themselves. Active participation is encouraged, but simply watching and learning is perfectly acceptable as well. Each course was paired with a cocktail, wine, or, if preferred, beer. Another highlight is the opportunity to meet new people who share a similar interest in food and unique social experiences. Every friend we’ve brought to an event has raved about what a great time they had. Last week, a friend visiting from the East Coast commented that they wished there were a similar venue in their hometown offering the same type of experience.
