Our mother was in a car accident with the other driver at fault, however the other driver had the same insurance and even the same agent. The insurance company was immediately problematic, even expressing they do not like to assign blame between customers (which would prevent payout from the at fault driver) even though the other driver was clearly responsible for the accident. Communication with the insurance company was intermittent at best, and ignoring our messages at worst, meanwhile sending notices to settle for a few thousand dollars and claiming they hadn't heard from us. Note both of our mother's legs were severely broken in the accident, her medical bills had totaled to over $300k, and the family was busy providing 24hr care to her. Hiring Brian Marchetti to deal with the insurance company freed our mother from the constant concern and uncertainty, allowing us all to focus on her healing. The insurance company continued to attempt non-payment by making the process onerous and continuing to demand paperwork, however once we hired Marchetti he handled all communication with the insurance company and explained the Medicare process with medical bills. Brian Marchetti is efficient and quick with communication and you still have the responsibility to provide forms, signatures, etc. to him so he can continue to volley back to the insurance company, however in contrast to the insurance company he is helping as opposed to hindering your progress through the process. In the end, Brian Marchetti facilitated my mother recovering the full coverage of both the other driver's policy and her own under-insured motorist policy (which was harder to recover), and we believe our net recovery after fees was significantly more than what we would have received from insurance on our own.
