I went there for the first time today I would've never known about it had my coworker not said lets go there for something sweet but they did not disappoint!! The cupcake was light and fluffy the buttercream was amazing and I don't even like buttercream!!

A most traumatic experience. Special order cake for child birthday. Beautiful cake but the icing slid off the back of it. Picked it up Saturday just before closing, party on Sunday, and I called Monday morning to let Margie know. The way Margie responded to my call remains the worst costumer services experience I have ever encountered. I’ve waited to post this—to give it time to rest and process the words spoken to me. I explained the situation and, before finishing, I was cut off and berated instantly. I was told that I should’ve contacted her immediately and I explained I called the moment the store reopened on Monday (closed Saturday after leaving store and on Sunday). A simple and kind and honest ‘I’m sorry’ would have sufficed. I needed nothing else. I never asked for a refund or any concession. Despite that, Margie was harsh and told me she was a small business owner with young children and that she should be supported. I love supporting local businesses, but that does not require me to relinquish the right to expect a proper product of which has been properly paid. A thread of kindness, an admission of a mistake, an apology—-all had the possibility of making it right and affording me an opportunity to give it another try. Instead, my business has not returned and I am honest about my terrible experience when other ask me about using her services.
Hi Jennifer. I am sorry but I am not open on Mondays and no one is at the shop so a phone call Monday morning is not possible. I also don’t have small children. I’ve had 2 people reach out to me in 10 years about icing sliding off a cake in Mississippi heat. One was a conversation via text message. The other would be a unicorn cake many years ago and that telephone call took place on a Thursday following the husband picking up the cake on a Saturday. Customers are given directions for caring for their cake to limit any mishaps including not putting the cake in the refrigerator. And unfortunately the unicorn cake was put into the refrigerator anyway. We try to give clear instructions on traveling and caring for the cake to minimize these issues.
My cupcake was delicious. However, the service was awful. I was asking the young lady questions about the birthday cupcakes since that was my first time. I asked was it a yellow or white cake? I asked if the icing was butter cream? I asked her the kind of flavor? She said white? I said white vanilla she said yes with an attitude. I asked I'd she had napkins? She was like no. Good cupcake but very turned off by her response. My mom was an excellent cook and bakery for years. She passed away and I wanted to try something new. So much for that.
I’m sorry about your experience. The young lady working the front sure didn’t mean to come off as rude as she is the sweetest. She only works the front and didn’t know the answers to your questions. I will make sure she just directs the questions to me next time.
I pull up to what I think is a normal house and walk into the most delicious smells ever..there right as you walk in staring you right in the face is a glass case with the cuties cupcakes, cookies that I ever laid eyes upon..So right away you already know what's about to go down..it's cupcake time..I did wince a bit at price, but let me tell you..they were so worth it..

I requested a cake for my wife's Graduation party and Margie went above and beyond great size and Decor everyone got a chance to enjoy and more..... very fluffy very moist....definitely recommend to anyone
