Marilee Caruso Photography - Vintage Pinup, Boudoir & Glamour

As a first-time client, was I nervous? Yes. Was I self-conscious? Yes, for approximately 90 seconds. Will I do it again? Oh, heck yes! Marliee and I had never met, but I've admired her work for years and decided I didn't want to wait anymore to schedule a session. I had the most fun day trying different outfits, playing dress-up, and laughing with Marilee. Her hair and make-up is next-level amazing. I'm still trying to figure out how she made my hair look so good. Her pose coaching was fun, silly, and also really helpful. TRUST THE PROCESS! I loved how nerdy she got with the lighting and that totally comes through in her art. I'm so, so happy with the pictures and am already planning my next session.

Jul 2023: Another photo shoot, another great time! Marilee gave me great tips and guidance throughout the process and I absolutely LOVE how all the pictures turned out. We did a couple of looks, including my favorite, pinup. Marilee is amazing at what she does! I'm always learning something when working with her. So of course I'm looking forward to another photo shoot! Already thinking of ideas. Mar 2023: I had such a great time during my photo shoot! Marilee made the whole process comfortable for me while giving me the space to feel sexy. Her energy is contagious, I loved it! She gave me exactly what I was looking for! I can't wait to go back for another shoot Dec 2024: I've been lucky enough to work with Marilee on multiple occasions and it continues to be a blast each time! We've done shoots from classic pinup to vintage glam to a fun fall setting (which I fell in LOVE with!!). She's very attentive and observant with an eye for great art! Not only do you get a photographer in Marilee but she also does hair and makeup. Anyone who decides to work with her will not be disappointed!

A little background on why I chose to do a photoshoot with her. Two years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy. I hadn’t quite felt myself after that, until I decided to treat myself for being 2 years cancer free. I had seen her work online and thought, I can do this! Not only did Marilee make me feel like a Hollywood model, she got me to feel beautiful again. She was also pleasant to talk to all day. A truly amazing soul. You will not be disappointed. Marilee is such a wonderful photographer to work with! Getting to have the whole package provided (makeup, hair, wardrobe, sets, posing suggestions) makes the experience so much fun. It’s a great way to pamper yourself and she is both professional as well as easygoing and fun. She has great ideas to do fun things that make you feel confident and excited for when you receive your photos. Shoots with her are always a blast and I love getting to work with her!

What a phenomenal empowering fantastical experience... I was totally nervous going in to the shoot... but Marilee made me so comfortable and confident. I don't even have the words. Five stars is not enough. Thank you so much Marilee and I can't wait to do this again!

I was so nervous and excited going into the shoot, I had never done anything like this before. Marilee made it so fun, she does an incredible job with hair and makeup and her wardrobe is so extensive. The finished pictures were gorgeous and made me feel so beautiful and confident. I can’t wait to take more and even show my grandkids someday!

This was my 3rd time working with Marilee and this time I brought my mom along to do her own shoot too! Always a blast. Marilee is spot on with both newbies and pros. She does amazing hair and makeup, and has a stunning wardrobe to utilize. I always recommend working with her to my friends!
