Made an appointment for a tree pruning, went to work, came home and it was done perfectly. Yard was cleaned up too. Highly recommend!
Thanks!
Rich Mathey and his crew were outstanding in their trimming and cutting of our 30 year old Coastal Live Oak. Our gigantic tree had some evidence of “Sudden Oak” infection and is being treated. His crew did a fantastic job of shaping the canopy and reducing the stress on the major limbs in preparation for the upcoming El-Nino severe storm season. They were very efficient at ensuring none of the cuttings harmed any of the ground cover landscape and did a great job with the cleanup. Definitely would recommend them.
Thanks G! See you Friday. Rich

The team was so great. Knowledgeable, professional and kind. I am recovering from surgery and the team went out of their way to help me carry in groceries. Not expected but much appreciated!

Rich and his team just finished a job for us pruning several trees. The whole process was super easy and they did excellent work in a very timely manner and left everything neat when they left. Highly recommend them!

The Mathey Tree Care crew are true professionals. They revitalized my two oak trees here in the Glenview area. Rich Mathey, the owner, is a tree guru: He knows a lot about trees including tree healthcare. Some tree services use hit and run methods, whereas Mathey's crew is conscientious and thorough. They do meticulous work from start to clean-up. The operative word for Mathey Tree Care is "care." Use them if you care about your trees.
Thank you! Always a bonus to meet new neighbors in Glenview;)
Rich and his team are remarkable. They helped us in an emergency situation with responsiveness and an incredibly professional effort. fallen limbs from a large oak were skillfully removed from the roof, and all debris was cleaned from the work site very quickly and thoroughly. They are a highly professional and understanding team.
We appreciate all you do as well Tom. Thanks and call if anything comes up ~ Rich
Rich and the team at Mathey Tree Care are wonderful! Rich is a highly knowledgeable arborist who came out quickly to diagnose an issue with our apricot tree. He was extremely communicative and professional throughout the entire process, and his pricing was very fair. We were able to get the work scheduled just a few days after the diagnosis. The team did an amazing job trimming a few trees on our property and performing a deep root treatment. They are efficient, professional, and do great work. We will absolutely be using Mathey for all of our tree care and trimming moving forward. Highly recommend!
Hi Lana! Thanks for trusting us with your trees and we look forward to the next visit in the Spring. Rich
