Google reviewers rate Mathnasium highly, citing improved math skills, increased student confidence, and an enjoyable learning environment as primary benefits. Parents frequently mention the professional staff, flexible scheduling, and effective communication, noting that the program helps children catch up or accelerate beyond grade level. While most feedback is positive, a minority of low-star reviews criticize the service for being expensive and ineffective, with one parent reporting that their child did not learn material and required additional homework correction at home.

My son enjoys going to the Mathnasium. It is certainly not cheap, but the fact that he gets a ton of extra practice and has a good time makes it worth the price.

Bringing my kids to repeated sessions at Mathnasium has been a clear benefit to their performance and love of math. Being able to work on their homework during part of the session is especially useful and gives my kids confidence in what they're learning along with their classmates. Thank you!

My grandson has been attending Mathnasium for two years. While it has helped with his progress in math, I am more impressed with the confidence he has gained.
He enjoys the sessions, never complains and is always happy when he has completed a session

The instructors are very positive and reinforce not just practicing math but also finding multiple ways to solve a problem. It’s a great fit for our kid who is a creative and independent thinker. Definitely the right environment and coaching to gain skills and confidence.

My child has been attending Mathnasium Oak Park for more than six months, and we couldn't be happier with the experience.
1. Math is a lifelong investment.
My child also takes music and sports classes, and we enjoy supporting those interests. If he becomes the next rock star, that would be wonderful—but I don't expect it. Math is different. Strong math skills will have a lasting impact on his education and future career. Since joining Mathnasium Oak Park, his progress has been obvious and measurable. He is now very confident in math, both at school and in everyday situations.
2. Math can actually be fun.
I've studied and relearned math throughout my own career, but I can't honestly say I always found it enjoyable. Mathnasium Oak Park has found creative ways to make learning math engaging and fun. My child "wants" to go there rather than feeling like he "has" to. That's not easy to achieve, and it says a lot about the program.
3. The people make all the difference.
The leaders and instructors at Mathnasium Oak Park have created a welcoming, supportive, and relaxed environment. I often see my child happily bouncing into the classroom and chatting comfortably with the staff. It genuinely feels like a second home for him.
We plan to continue with Mathnasium Oak Park, and I highly recommend it to any parent who wants their child not only to excel in math but also to truly enjoy learning it. If you're considering additional math support for your child, it may be worth scheduling a free assessment to learn more about the program.
