Our daughter has been attending Mathnasium for over two years, and we’ve seen tremendous growth in her problem-solving skills and overall confidence. She genuinely enjoys learning with the teachers, whose positive attitudes and encouragement make the experience even more rewarding. Happy student! We are satisfied with Mathnasium. Our child was in advanced math starting in 6th grade, but we saw them struggle in the later stages of 7th grade with certain foundational concepts. At school, they worked with calculators and Desmos. They understood the concepts in algebra but struggled to perform numerical calculations manually. We enrolled them in the summer program after the 7th grade and specifically asked for support with mathematical concepts. Mathnasium’s skills testing and systematic process identified their weak areas, and a plan was created to work on their specific needs. Our child understood the “why” and reasoning behind mathematical concepts but had forgotten the “how” part of analyzing. Mathnasium helped with that. At the beginning of 8th grade, there was no calculator use at school, but the work they did with Mathnasium over the summer helped them be proactive and learn better without feeling lost. The only disappointing aspect is that there is no fixed tutor assigned to a student, so tutors don’t get to know each child consistently. Each session may be with a different tutor, but they are all efficient and bring different teaching approaches. However, we also understand that it's not practical to expect a tutor to stay with the program until your child finishes school. Additionally, the center director knows your child’s profile thoroughly and guides the tutors accordingly. What we appreciate: ✅ Skills testing and a systematic process that identifies weak areas and creates a plan for specific needs. ✅Monthly reports on your child’s progress, explaining what they have learned and what the future lesson plans will be. ✅Accommodating schedules. ✅ No homework from the center, but home support is provided. ✅A motivating prize system that gives students something to look forward to. ✅A support system that reinforces concepts without huge pressure or requiring extra work at home. ✅Students learn new concepts, reinforce and practice them, and then apply them at school. Our child's specific needs with foundational concepts and manual calculation, the structured, instructor-led approach of Mathnasium was the most direct fit. I have compared this program to other different brands where there is repetitive worksheet method that could help build calculation speed, though it requires more self-discipline at home. With a heavy load of school activities, it’s a relief to have found this kind of support. We are looking forward to the SAT prep, all the foundational support they will provide, and our child moving on to grade level math.

We had a wonderful experience with Mathnasium. My child was struggling in math, and despite trying hard in school, it became clear that he wasn’t getting the support he needed in the classroom and was starting to fall behind. Our senior came to Mathnasium tremendously behind, as his school has not had consistent math instruction throughout high school. Their skills testing and systematic process identified his weak areas, and a plan was created to work on his specific needs. Three months later, our son completed a College Algebra class through NW Vista with an A. Mathnasium does a very thorough job of keeping parents informed of daily progress, and appointments are easy to schedule. Highly recommend!

My daughter has ADHD & fell behind at school. She went from failing to now being in advanced math classes at school. Her meds helped her focus but the tutors at Mathnaseum have been amazing & they got her back on track. I really like that they give them evaluations & that the tutors talk to the parents to let us know how she's doing & how she did on her evaluation. And when she had had issues with a certain topic at school I just tell them and they help her understand it.
