Divorce is not something you ever want to experience, you don’t get married with the intention of ever having to go through the trials and tribulations of separation and the contentiousness of splitting up assets or custody. When my X and I separated I found Colleen through online reviews and we favored mediation for the cost and because we wanted to divorce amicably and think of our children. We first met with Colleen after a few phone calls and she was extremely helpful explaining the process, timelines, cost etc. We found her to be very knowledgeable and had a lot of helpful suggestions, as she was very diplomatic. I would say that was one of her strongest skills was representing both my X and I in a way that felt honest and fair so we both came out of this feeling like we could move forward with our lives during a very difficult time. She was also extremely responsive and communicative. Colleen is also a notary which helped with other docs that needed signing.
