We recently had an excellent experience with Meagan for our newborn photo shoot! During the booking process, she was prompt, communicative, and helpful. Once we arrived at her studio, she had a fantastic selection of outfits, setups, and props. She had all the right tools to ensure our newborn was able to stay asleep during the session and it was clear throughout how prepared and experienced she was. She was friendly but and helpful throughout, but didn’t waste time so she could ensure she had plenty of time while the baby was asleep. We are waiting for the final photos to be shared with us, but at this point I have no doubt they’ll be as fantastic as the rest of our experience. The only things even close to negative were the location and selection. It’s pretty far east of town, which was a decently long drive for us with a newborn. The selection of items was a bit overwhelming, and outside looking at her posted photos you don’t see most of those items until you arrive. She was helpful during our swlection process though, and having too many options is a good problem to have. All told, we would highly recommend Meagan and professional newborn photos in general. We were on the fence about having them done, but I can already tell it’s a decision we’ll be glad we made.
We had a great experience using Meagan for our newborn/family photos. She was very patient in getting our little girl settled and asleep for the pictures. Also, the studio was very comfortable, relaxing and warm for our little girl. Meagan helped with providing input on how to pose and suggestions on outfits to choose from.
Meagan has been my go-to photographer for 11 years! She is the best at everything she does. She has photographed my wedding, birth photography, newborn, and smash cake, pictures for both my babies, family pictures, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, you name it! Such quality photos! She has such an eye for detail and captures every precious moment. I would recommend her over and over again!

Zero stars if possible. Lacks in communication. Most photographers ask for a down payment before scheduling clients but Meagan asked for the full price upfront. She did not use much thought in thinking of different ways to pose my family and baby. Photos turned out below average which shows a photographer’s effort. Final photo quality is low so cannot do large prints without them looking pixelated (I tried). Meagan stopped responding after I asked if photos could be resized for a better quality in order to get a larger print. JCPenney’s does a better job for a fraction of the price she is charging which is disappointing. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHOTOGRAPHER. Given payment is upfront, you have lost your money if you’re unhappy with your photos. I FEEL LIKE I WAS SCAMMED. 1. Meagan if you notice, i got no email from you after 5/4/23. Also, you never specified how you would send the invoice. If it’s venmo, zelle, cashapp, or any online orders, my yahoo account gets the invoice. As far as paypal, my hotmail gets the invoice. So if you want payment, you should probably double check how people can get their invoices and if their invoice via “paypal” can be received with that email address. Also, nothing in the email shows that you mentioned about a down payment to secure a spot. You just fell off the conversation after 5/4 and then after I reached out to you on 5/14 you stated “address and session details are given after payment has been received.” Even after I secured my session, you still didn’t go over any “details” or “location” like you said until I reached out again on 5/19. 2. If you are off on weekends and accommodated for a client I don’t think that is something to blame the client for. That’s unprofessional. 3. If you can communicate better there would be less of a misunderstanding. I wrote this review because I don’t want someone else to fall into some trap like this and you try to justify yourself with passive aggressiveness. Again, unprofessional. Not once have you reached out to try to fix a simple miscommunication/misunderstanding. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. 4. Based on your response, it doesn’t sound like you are denying that you did a poor job with our photoshoot. And when we arrived, you acted surprised that it would be a shoot with my family and my 6 month old. Again, if you go back to 5/1 in the email, i asked for a family and baby shoot. Posted copies of the email conservation since the photographer wants to try to disprove her faults on Yelp.
Hi Lynda, I have replied multiple times to the same review on varying platforms. Your complaints have never been brought to my attention personally. I do feel as if your end goal is not to reach a resolution but to defame my business in any means possible. I have communicated with you despite me being out of office, on vacation, etc. Communication has been present and very timely. You have contact me by phone also, which you have intentionally left out of this review. You refused to pay the initial booking fee to reserve your session and have been very short since that took place. Your presence during the session was very irritable. You did not have to move forward with scheduling with me. You have many options as you have mentioned with the "other 50 photographers" you have used. I treated your session the exact same as every other session I have conducted and I am confident that the quality of work provided and service provided was ethical and up to professional quality despite your hateful and demeaning words. You did not email with any complaints, you simply ran strait to online platforms to vent. If these complaints were brought to my attention a remedy could have been made to correct the issue to the best of my ability. Your session experience was conducted professionally and amicably despite your lack of desire and excitement to be there from the time of arrival. I am happy to remedy a situation that I did not do right by but unfortunately for you this is not one of them. In short you downloaded a gallery 3 times that you state was terrible. You additionally verbalized your desire to make large prints from the gallery. The session was booked, conducted and delivered within the time frame provided. I do not want to hash out specific details as to why you're in the wrong by posting this but I will provide any and all to any potential clients who desire to know more about this situation. Flat out you did not want to pay and when I requested payment multiple times your demeanor changed to very short and lacked in email, phone and text responses. I will not hold a session on my calendar when payment has not been made. That is not unprofessional nor unreasonable for me to do within my practices. You have literally complained about me going above and beyond to try and accommodate your specific needs from dates, times, additional free images and payment accommodations. Once again, I hope you have a better session experience next time and I pray your next photographer is not treated as poorly as I was by you. This is a first for me to be attacked and completely unprovoked by someone who is clearly dealing with issues outside of this experience. It is unfair and unwarranted. If I could leave a client review I absolutely would.
Meagan is the absolute bomb. She is professional and nice. I know that the quality of the photos are going to turn out fantastic. Thankful that we chose her for it newborn photos!
Meagan did an awesome job! I handed her my baby and she did everything from dressing, posing, taking pictures. The studio atmosphere is very organized, cozy, and relaxing for babies. I highly recommend her for your baby, maternity and family photography needs.
