Metro Flooring and Cabinet partnered with Property Rehab Inc. to repair a plumbing leak in the kitchen concrete slab. The work necessitated dismanteling of a portion of the kitchen to do the repair. Metro Flooring removed and replaced cabinets in the wall and the island, removed and replaced the granite counter top and replaced the hard wood flooring. They were superb! The quality of workmanship, attention to detail and concern for the customer is impressive. Michael and his team do what they say they will do when they say they will do it. Michael is a stickler for detail. The kitchen looks excellent. Work was done ahead of the schedule and there were no additional costs beyond what was originally estimated. I recommend them highly and will use them again if the need arrives. I also trusted them with a key to my home to complete some of the work while I was away.

I'm sorry to give a 1 star review to this business. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to provide my unbiased feedback. We spoke to the owner and scheduled a call for an estimate to be provided for our kitchen and our garage. After they arrived to our house, he gave us a verbal quote for the kitchen, but promised to give us a written quote for the garage within a day or two. After almost 5 days, I decided to call back and ask for the status. The owner said he forgot to email it to us, adding that they won't quote it since it would be much more than what we would be willing to pay (!?). He mentioned quotes take between 5 to 7 business days to produce (!!?).
There you guys have it. Make your own conclusions. I waited for a quote that never arrived. Then excuses from the owner to the reasons why it was not sent.
Piece of advice to a business owner: if you want to earn the business, you cannot be that sloppy.

Hi David, we’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience and apologize if there was any misunderstanding regarding the timing of your estimate.
We do want to clarify that our standard turnaround time for written estimates is 5 to 7 business days. Today marks the fourth day since we visited your home. We did begin working on the garage cabinet estimate, but as we started putting the numbers together, we quickly realized that the project was coming in significantly higher than the budget discussed during our visit.
Rather than provide you with an estimate that was substantially outside the budget you had given us, we should have communicated that with you sooner. We sincerely apologize that you did not receive an update regarding the garage cabinets in the timeframe you felt was appropriate.
We take every customer and every project seriously and prioritize providing accurate estimates that make sense for each customer’s needs and budget. We appreciate your feedback and regret that we missed the opportunity to better communicate with you throughout the process.

2 years ago, we had the pleasure of working with Michael to remodel our kitchen and floors. He was so kind and patient with us through the design process and in choosing the materials. He could always be reached when we had any questions, and we felt like he genuinely cared about us and our project. Despite a hurricane and some materials arriving not up to his standard, Michael went above and beyond to make things right for us.
