If nothing is wrong with your furbaby, then this is a great place to donate money to for unnecessary shots and procedures. They offered free nail trimmings with check ups, in the past, but now there is a charge for that too. They feign a good caring team, but it's really your wallet that has all of their attention.

I want to commend the entire team for their compassion, patience, understanding and kindness during a very painful and sad time in our lives. From the phone calls answered to the techs to Dr. Alice, they all were so kind and never once did I feel uncared for or rushed to make a decision. My Daisy was their Daisy at every moment and their love was felt. To have such a caring team during a very difficult time meant the world to us, thank you!

They do the best job in all of Berea of taking care of my puppy Loki. Doctor Alice saved my dog from eating a lot of things that be definitely should not be eating. I would recommend Metropet to anyone who wants quality pet care. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks to Doctor Alice and staff for keeping my puppy alive!

This place has a very friendly staff and is very clean. They have convenient services and communicate very well. However, they seem to have a scheduling issues because you will wait when you get there. I have a cat that has advanced dental issues. To get him set up with vaccinations antibiotics initial visit was $670. Then they were quoting me $1750-$3200 For the dental surgery. I imagine after tax and the first initial visit everything‘s gonna come up to about $4000. After talking with some people, I found out that this is an outrageous amount of money for what he needs.
Update, They were completely wrong about my cats teeth. He only needed two teeth removed. It was less than $400 from start to finish. I would avoid this place

Thank you for your review. We'll have to do a better job of communicating that an estimate is just that. It is an "estimated" amount. Had we cleaned the teeth and taken full mouth dental radiographs (which is standard best medical practice), and seen at that point that only 2 teeth would have needed to be extracted, the price would have been much lower than the estimate.
Vet practices do vary with what their dentals include, and that does reflect in the cost.
Our dentals include with the price; whole mouth digital dental radiographs, constant licensed registered veterinary technician monitoring, oxygen and carbon dioxide monitoring, core body temperature monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, warmed IV fluids, ECG, "bear hugger" patient warming during the procedure, ICU warming cage post operatively, full day of pre and post surgical monitoring in our feline exclusive fear free ward, pain medications, pre and post surgical doctor examination. We also include post extraction radiographs to ensure the entire root has been removed and there is no associated abscess or dental bone pathology near the extraction site.
Unfortunately, without the whole mouth radiographs, it is difficult to see what lies below the gums. We may have overestimated since we don't like to have surprises for clients on estimates after the fact. We would obviously only extract teeth if absolutely necessary.
However, so glad your kitty is feeling more comfortable with their mouth now!

The staff has been wonderful helping my dog get over his anxiety when visiting the vet. He has “happy visits” all positive reinforcement treats, pets and love. I cannot thank you enough for taking the time with him and helping him to have a positive experience.
