We had a great experience with MFK Construction. Gaspar and Abelardo, who were on-site, were professional, courteous, and communicated with us throughout the entire project. They always arrived on time, treated our home with respect, and cleaned up the work area at the end of every day.
The project included demolishing our existing balcony tile and subfloor, installing a new Life Deck waterproof decking system with new bonderized perimeter flashing, replacing the floor drain flashings, and painting everything to match the existing color scheme. They also removed old wood fixtures, repaired several areas of stucco, and replaced a few roof tiles.
The quality of the workmanship was excellent, and the attention to detail really showed. We appreciated how smoothly it all went. Mitch managed the job and was very responsive whenever we had questions. Overall a great team that delivers.

I had a great experience working with MFK Construction and Maintenance, Inc. on a balcony reconstruction and waterproofing project.
From start to finish, Mitch and his crew were professional, communicative, and transparent throughout the entire process. Once demolition began, they uncovered significant hidden structural damage (rotted beam and joists) and clearly explained the issue, provided photos, and handled the repairs the right way without cutting corners.
The quality of workmanship was excellent — from the new waterproof deck system and Trex railing to the final soffit replacement and finishing details. They stayed organized, kept the job site clean, and kept me updated every step of the way.
What I appreciated most was their honesty and professionalism. Mitch was responsive, fair with pricing, and clearly takes pride in doing things correctly.
I highly recommend MFK Construction and Maintenance to anyone looking for quality work and a trustworthy contractor.

I hired MFK to remove and replace an old balcony in my residence. Mitch visited the site and provided me with a detailed written proposal and a reasonable price. He also accommodated my comments and the changes I requested on some work items. He was very professional and we had great communication through completion of the project, exchanging multiple email messages and phone calls. The crew was always on time, efficient and responsive to my requests and cleaned up well at the end of each work day.
I also retained them to replace my damaged wood sidings and trims. Martin did a great job custom making wood panels for me as my residence is relatively old and no sidings matching the original ones were available in the market. They completed this job efficiently as well.
I found this family owned business trustworthy and will continue recommending their services to friends and family.

MFK Construction was outstanding! We were in escrow on a property for sale and nearing our closing date, and had an emergency situation arise. We needed to replace a whole upper deck prior to the HOA allowing us to close our transaction. Since we are a full-service Real Estate team, we jumped on Yelp searching for a very specific trade. Mitch at MFK was one of the first responses we received. I told him about our situation, and we set up a meeting immediately. He provided a reasonable quote, and the work began right away. Our client was thrilled to have this stress taken off her plate. There were no surprises or delays, and they did a beautiful job! They demoed two layers, replaced everything, including some fascia, added new joists, applied the waterproof deck coating system, flashing, stucco and paint!
The crew was on time, and they cleaned up after themselves. They posted notices throughout the community and spoke with neighbors to prevent any issues. They provided a credit card link for our client to pay, and everything was very smooth. They communicated daily on their progress. The HOA was happy, the client was happy, and the new buyer was happy! We closed our escrow! I will definitely be saving their contact as one of our preferred vendors to refer to other clients! Thanks again! You have a great team!

These guys are awesome!! Best quote we got for resurfacing and sealing our deck and their work is perfection. Not only were they punctual and polite, but they used the same products and procedures that the others wanted thousands more for. I can't say enough good things about MFK and their work. We will definitely use MFK Construction again and you should too!!

Beautiful new deck!
MFK Construction & Maintenance did an excellent job replacing my entire deck, including a new front railing that is now up to code.
The craftsmanship was top-notch and I will tell all my neighbors and Property Managers to use MFK for all construction projects.
Thank you Mitch and your team.

MFK Construction recently finished a major project on our balcony, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The team demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, and the quality of their work is outstanding. They gave us accurate estimates on when they were going to be finished and completed the project in a timely manner. They were also very communicative on which days they were going to be onsite and which days they were waiting for city inspection. Thanks, MFK Construction!

Mitch and his team at MFK helped us with a particularly complicated home repair project on relatively short notice. They were consummate professionals throughout the entire process. Arrived on time, cleaned up after each workday, kept us completely informed, remained within budget, and completed the project well-within schedule. Could not have asked for more successful outcome!

I recently had the pleasure of working with MFK Construction to re-build my patio deck, and I couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, the team was top-notch. They were always on time, super professional, and greeted me with a smile every day. Not to mention, they were incredibly tidy - always cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day, which I really appreciated. The management team kept me in the loop with regular email updates, which made the whole process seamless. Having them work on my home was truly a pleasure, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality construction work.
