We cannot say enough good things about Micaelis Event and the incredible job they did for our wedding. From the very beginning of the planning process through the end of our wedding night, working with their team was an absolute pleasure.
First and foremost the food was truly one of the highlights of our wedding. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and exceeded our expectations. We received so many compliments from our guests throughout the night about how good the food was, and we had multiple people tell us afterward that it was some of the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Having great food was really important to us, and Micaelis Event absolutely delivered.
Amanda was our main point of contact through our the whole process, she such a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding. She was incredibly helpful, responsive, and made the entire catering and planning process feel easy and stress-free. We always felt like we were in good hands and that our questions and requests were being taken seriously. Her professionalism and willingness to work with us made such a difference during what can be a very hectic time. She truly made us feel like family
We opted to go through Michaelis events for our day of wedding coordination and we’re so glad we did. On the wedding day, Christine was our coordinator and was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive, organized, and on top of everything throughout the entire day. She helped everything run smoothly and allowed us to actually relax and enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about the details. Having someone like Christine made a huge difference and if you’re on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator, DO IT.
Overall, Michalis Event was everything we could have hoped for and more. The food, service, communication, and professionalism were all exceptional. We are so grateful to Amanda, Christine, and the entire Michalis Event team for helping make our wedding such a special and memorable night. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or special event!

My daughter just got married over Labor Day weekend at the Bradshaw Duncan House. Michaelis Events & Catering is an approved vendor for catering and wedding coordination at this venue. When I was vetting caterers for my daughter, Amanda with Michaelis Events was one of the first places to respond. From the start Amanda was friendly, kind, funny, transparent, very knowledgeable and forthcoming when answering all our questions about catering and what she would coordinate for the wedding. There were no surprise costs. She made suggestions and worked hard to get the menu to the price point our budget could afford. Amanda kept things organized for my daughter and had regular check-ins the months leading up to the wedding to keep things on track.
The rehearsal was efficient and straightforward with Amanda's instructions being clear and precise. She took inventory and made sure all decorations and other items we were supplying were accounted for.
The wedding day went smoothly and knowing Amanda was handling the setup allowed me to be present and fully focus solely on my daughter and son-in-law. A wedding is a day you don't get to do-over if there's a glitch. Amanda worked tirelessly to keep things running on time and without hiccups. I am thoroughly impressed with all the little details she made sure were perfect. I highly recommend Michaelis Events & Catering for your wedding!

We used Michaelis for a corporate event and were so happy with their services. They made it easy, were thorough in the planning, and had a solution to every issue/question that popped up. The day of our event, all their staff was professional and friendly. I couldn't believe how little I had to do, because they already had it covered! We highly recommend them and would use them again in the future!

I cannot recommend enough Michaelis events for their help with catering, bar, and supplying our tableware for our wedding. They were incredibly easily to communicate with (shout out Amanda!) and were flexible with timing on meetings, tastings, etc. Definitely choose them for your wedding!

My fiance and I decided to plan a backyard wedding at my mother’s home with 7 weeks to plan. We were both working full time and just knew we had to hire someone. Thank goodness I found Amanda Elmore at Michaelis! The company was definitely not the cheaper option, but it was worth every penny! The money it cost us to hire her was more than saved in her attention to detail and our budget concerns and making every amazing detail still came in under our set over all budget. She gave us the MOST SPECTACULAR day that friends and family are still raving about. She handled all the details, was an amazingly supportive ear when things felt overwhelming, and made the wedding itself come off without a hitch!! Even with some heavy rain, a last minute tent getting saved the day. The music was so fabulous my moms neighbour behind the house came over the next day with a bottle of bourbon to thank us for the lovely event he witnessed from his back window:) Amanda is the best. You definitely should hire her!

We hired Michaelis Catering for our daughter's wedding and I really could not be happier with the whole process! Everything leading up the the wedding went smoothly. The day of, they were there on time, set up went smooth. The bartenders, servers and coordinator were all fantastic! I would recommend them always!
