- Price assessment: Reasonable price

Reviewers frequently cite the clinic's friendly staff, thorough communication, and affordable pricing as key positives, noting that veterinarians often explain procedures clearly and follow up with patients. Many highlight the compassionate care provided during sensitive situations, including emergency visits and end-of-life support. However, a recurring criticism in lower-rated reviews involves concerns about high costs, perceived lack of accountability for medical outcomes, and communication issues regarding billing or medication orders.

Midvalley was amazing! Every one of the techs was so helpful and loved my furbaby as much as I did! ♡ Thanks, Midvalley. 😊 We will definitely be coming back.
It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are for the wonderful doctors and staff at Midvalley Animal Clinic. ❤️ Our sweet English Mastiff, Yukon, recently passed away unexpectedly. He was a nearly 200-pound gentle giant with an even bigger heart. During his recent surgery, we learned he had an aggressive cancer in his mouth, and the team at Midvalley showed him and our family such genuine kindness and compassion through an incredibly difficult time. What means the most to me is that they didn’t just see another big dog coming through their clinic. They looked past the slobber, the ridiculous amount of hair, and his enormous size, and saw the same sweet, loving soul that we knew and adored. We never felt like Yukon was just another patient. Knowing the people caring for him genuinely cared about him meant everything to us. You can teach someone veterinary medicine, but you can’t teach them to have a heart like that. To Dr. Rush and the entire Midvalley team, thank you for the compassion, kindness, and love you showed our big yellow boy. We’ll miss him forever, but knowing he was surrounded by people who truly cared means the world to our family. I can’t recommend Midvalley Animal Clinic enough. 💛🐾
Great service
The technicians dont think things through when doing medication orders. Had a chewable medicine that we did a 2 week supply. When I went to order via phone a 60 supply, I specifically asked for the chewable but asked if there was a generic version. The tech said yes and we filled the prescription. After picking up the prescription and opening we realized it was not the chewable version. So now out $40 since we can only use the chewable version which is not a generic version. Please train tech to communicate the difference to customers better. 😞
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience today at Mid Valley Veterinary Hospital, especially with veterinarian Zoe and her absolutely amazing vet tech! My dog, Maya, has an extreme fear of having her nails trimmed. It's been an ongoing struggle for years, to the point that I recently had to put her under general anesthesia at another veterinary clinic just to get her nails done. Because Maya also has EPI (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency), going without food for extended periods is especially difficult for her. Following that procedure, she had a miserable recovery and was unable to eat or drink for much of the day. I came in today expecting to have to put her through anesthesia again, but Zoe actually listened to my concerns, asked questions about Maya's behavior, and suggested something I hadn't even considered possible. She said, "What if we just try?" They took Maya into the back, used a muzzle and extra assistance, and attempted to trim her nails without anesthesia. And they did it!! They weren't able to get every nail as short as we'd like, but that wasn't the point. They accomplished something I honestly didn't think was possible anymore! Even better, Zoe suggested a plan moving forward: trying trazodone before future appointments to help Maya tolerate nail trims without needing general anesthesia. What impressed me most was their willingness to listen, think outside the box, and work with me rather than immediately resorting to anesthesia. I was so relieved I nearly cried! I also want to recognize Zoe's wonderful vet tech, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire experience. I've been to Mid Valley in the past and had wonderful experiences, and today reminded me exactly why. I'm so grateful to have found a veterinary team that genuinely cares about both the animal and the owner's concerns. Thank you, Zoe and your amazing team, for giving Maya and me a much better path forward! ❤️
I've been looking for a vet closer to home for my dogs. When my "old man" dog Charlie started to have some concerning symptoms I did some research and called Midvalley. Everyone was absolutely wonderful. We saw Dr. Rush and Hudson and the level of care provided exceeded all my expectations. Dr. Rush was kind, compassionate and very thorough. The service was affordable, the wait times were short and everyone was very friendly. I will absolutely be going back to Midvalley again.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Caring, and should I choose to have another furry companion in the future. This would be my go to place for their care. Thank you again, for all the care over the past 10+ years for my family's two pets. Weezer and Mercury, were quite the medical handfuls in their own ways and though they were not fan of the office they had no issues with the staff to the point of recognizing their favorites.
"I LOVED this place once...THEN, they hurt my dog, and refused to take accountability for it. Overcharged me a large Fee just to pick him up that day and in general. 5, 000.00 and he could barely walk for a month. After 12 years, I pulled my dogs and left. Be careful! They don't really care...
Thank you for your feedback, and we're glad to hear your dog is doing better. We're not sure which visit this review refers to, so we'd like to share some context on both. More than a year ago, your dog had a major orthopedic surgery. The procedure involves cutting the bone and placing a bone plate, and the bone takes at least 8 weeks to heal. Limited mobility during recovery is expected, and we reviewed the plan, the recovery and the estimated cost of about $4,000 with you before surgery and got your approval. In June of this year, we got him in the same day. Our doctor examined him, addressed the discomfort he came in with, and talked through the treatment plan with you before going ahead. We planned his sedation around his medical history to keep him safe, and the total for that visit was under $500. Our team went over his go-home instructions by phone and in person at pickup, emailed you a summary of his care and medication instructions, answered your follow-up questions the next day, and offered a review with our practice manager, which you declined. We're proud of the care our team provided and wish you and your pets the best. Midvalley Animal Clinic
I continue to be impressed by this vet! I was referred here because they perform feline dental extractions. I have had to make many visits to this vet over the last year and they have been amazing. Their staff is friendly and efficient. They explain everything in a way that is easy to understand and they break down pricing and options. When it comes to pricing, they are not "pushy" like other places but they do make it clear which areas to prioritize to ensure your pets health. It is clear they care about animals. I also LOVE that they are able to answer text messages, it makes quick questions and appointment confirmations much easier.
