Customers frequently praise the salon for skilled grooming, attentive staff, and a clean facility, noting that pets often appear well-styled and comfortable. However, recurring criticisms involve high pricing, inconsistent phone communication, and billing transparency issues. Some reviewers also reported instances of pet injury or dismissive responses to concerns, contrasting with the generally positive sentiment regarding the quality of cuts.

My Australian Labradoodle is eight years old, and this was the first time I had ever had her hair cut! Needless to say, I was a little nervous. I knew she needed a little more style and a little less hair, but I didn't want anything too drastic.

Gabriel Feitosa was absolutely wonderful! He listened carefully, took the time to walk me through different options, and genuinely wanted to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the direction we were going. I really appreciated that he wasn't trying to do anything extreme, but instead focused on what would look beautiful and natural for her.

There's a reason Gabriel is considered one of the best in his field. The cut itself was absolutely beautiful! And the products they used, especially the deep conditioning treatment, left her coat feeling incredibly silky and soft. I honestly couldn't be happier with the results!
The entire staff at Mimo Pets was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding, even when I may have been a little overly obsessed with every detail (haha!). Absolutely no judgment, just kindness and a wonderful experience.

Thank you, Gabriel and the Mimo Pets team, for taking such great care of my girl! I couldn't recommend you more highly!

I highly recommend Mimo Grooming in University Heights! The salon is very nice, and the staff is wonderful. A special thank you to NAYANDIS —he was incredibly kind and patient with my dog throughout the grooming appointment. He also speaks Spanish, which made communication so much easier. If you’re looking for a groomer who speaks Spanish, I definitely recommend choosing him!

Blessing to all!!!

Oh my goodness, they gave my baby girl Lua the celebrity treatment. When I tell you she looks PERFECT. I have no notes. I don’t think she’s ever had such a beautiful cut…as a hairstylist myself I have high standards for my baby girl! She’s a cocker spaniel and they gave her a gorgeous make over. They even dolled her up and added a little lua sticker tattoo on her bum. I will definitely be bringing her back to Mimo for her next spa day!

I have been trusting Gabriel and his team with Gia for over 4 years and they never disappoint. She always looks amazing when I pick her up and I know they take great care of my fur baby while she is in their care. I highly recommend Gabriel’s Salons to anyone looking for a great experience for your precious fur babies. I was drawn to Mimo because other salons were wanting to shave my baby’s hair rather than demat her; however, Natache assured me they had the experience and desire to keep Gia’s beautiful hair intact. She won me over on our first telephone conversation and I have never taken Gia anywhere since. Natache doesn’t just talk the talk, she walks the walk! Love her and the Mimo family!

Debra
