I had such an exceptional experience with K! From the moment I arrived, she was welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable. She took the time to listen to what I wanted, assess my natural brow shape, and explain the process so I felt confident every step of the way. Her attention to detail was incredible. K used precise brow-mapping and shaping techniques to create brows that complement my face while still looking natural and balanced. I especially appreciated how she focused on symmetry, customized the shape to suit my features, and used such a gentle, controlled touch throughout the service. The final result was clean, soft, polished, and exactly what I hoped for, enhanced without looking overdone. You can truly tell K cares about her work and her clients. Her technique, professionalism, and eye for detail are unmatched. I recently completed a micro-needling course and had an excellent experience. Holly Yonker-Stoviak, AP Esthetician was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and thorough throughout the entire training. She demonstrated a strong understanding of both the theory and hands-on techniques, while also taking the time to explain the “why” behind each step. As an advanced practice registered nurse with a strong interest in education, I have high standards when it comes to education and training. I pay close attention to the quality of the information presented, the instructor’s ability to communicate effectively, and whether the training truly prepares you to apply what you’ve learned. This course exceeded my expectations in all of those areas. I appreciated Holly’s expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to making sure the material was understood rather than simply presented. I left the course feeling more confident, informed, and prepared to incorporate micro-needling into my clinical practice. Such a great place to learn and grow. Everyone at Minnesota Brow Lash & Medspa Academy was welcoming and supportive from day one. The training is very detailed, and the instructors make sure you understand what you're doing instead of just showing you once. I learned so much and would definitely recommend this academy.

I had a truly disappointing experience with this service. I was initially thrilled about getting my eyebrows done, something I had wanted for a long time. After seeing an ad on Facebook, I decided to book an appointment. However, upon arrival, the technician, Brodi, was incredibly rude and dismissive throughout the entire session. Whenever I asked questions, her responses made me feel as though I was wrong for even asking. Despite this, I tipped her over $50 because I had a touch-up service scheduled with her and always tip at least the minimum for services. Later, I received voicemails from the academy and a Facebook message from Brodi asking if I could come in earlier for my touch-up, which had been scheduled for August 10th. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the earlier time. I called back the next day and left a voicemail, and finally reached someone the following morning. I told the person I couldn’t make it at the earlier time and they rescheduled my appointment with me to September 18th, expecting to receive a confirmation text as I had for my initial appointment, but I never did. I left a voicemail on the 21st of September another in October and one more in November, and didn't get a response until December 6th. When I finally spoke to someone, they re-re scheduled me for December 12th. I was under the impression that the touch-up would cost $50, as initially explained, but I received a voicemail stating it would be $175 because it was past a 10-week mark. I was shocked, especially since they had asked me to reschedule and failed to communicate properly. I requested to speak with a manager and was told one would contact me. Instead, I received a text saying Brodi no longer wanted to work with me and that the appointment would be $175 if I kept it. I asked for the manager to call me, and the response was vague and non-committal. Additionally, they continued to contact my old phone number despite updating it multiple times. My eyebrows after the first appointment and still to this day, are non-existent, forcing me to use pomade daily, just as I had before the “service”. I dye my hair black, so my roots are lighter, which led to a shocking moment when Brodi almost tattooed my brows blonde. Thankfully, a teacher intervened. Brodi's attitude felt like a jab at my need for a hair touch-up. When I inquired about adding slits to my brows, Brodi laughed and rudely dismissed the idea. Overall, I feel disappointed, hurt, and that I completely wasted my money on this service.

My experience with the academy coordinator, Menisha, was disappointing and unprofessional. Mai (eyebrow artist) initially told me that I could return for a remeasurement of my brows and that a touch-up could be performed if I signed a consent form. After I received a text asking me to come in, I arrived expecting to discuss those options. Instead, I was directed to the academy coordinator, who informed me that neither option would be available. Because of the information I had previously been given, I felt misled and caught off guard by the situation. During my conversation with Menisha, she stated that the policy was “Minnesota State Law.” When I asked where Minnesota law stated that a client who leaves the building cannot return for a touch-up or re-evaluation, she cited Minnesota Statute 164B.02. After reviewing that section, I could not find the language she referenced. She then stated it was contained elsewhere in the statute package and later referenced 164B.06 instead. I believe there is an important distinction between school policy and Minnesota law, and I was concerned by the inconsistent explanations provided. I also felt that her eye-rolling, sarcastic comments, and overall demeanor were unprofessional when I asked for clarification. I encourage anyone seeking information about policies to request the specific statute or written policy and review it themselves.

Staff was nice and the atmosphere was great. Understand it is a school and individuals are learning. However, had a gel manicure and pedicure and gel was already peeling after 3.5 days and feet still felt dry after service. Teacher did not check in with quality of work. Hours are limited with it being an academy so had to take PTO to get service and it all feels not worth the price and time for the quality.

My experience here at Minnesota Brow Lash & Medspa Academy has been absolutely amazing! From the friendly front desk staff to the exceptional customer service, this was a phenomenal visit. I saw Macy Sisco for my brows, we did microblading/shading and they look so good! Crisp, clean, and the color/shape is perfection! Thank you so much!!
