Miss Alice Designs

I recently had the pleasure of working with Alice on a remodel of a single family home. She is a delight to work with - she’s a great team player. I have worked with numerous interior designers, and sadly, most do not work well with the construction team or are cognizant of cost and the impact of design changes during construction. Alice also has a great sense of style. She is able to work with a client to develop an interior that reflects the client’s taste in an aesthetically appealing fashion. This project was also on a tight timeline and Alice got everything done within the constraints of time and budget. I can’t recommend her enough!

Alice is a wonderful, caring, and simply authentic person. She has an amazing attention to the smallest details and really helps you express what you want in your space. She shows amazing flexibility to work within budget and has helped us tie multiple rooms throughout our home together. It is now truly a sanctuary to come home to, relax, and recharge for the next day. Hands down the BEST designer in SF! We cannot keep her business cards in stock; simply, everyone who stops by for coffee or dinner just doesn't want to leave! Thank you, Alice, for transforming our house into a home and giving us our "retreat" that we get to come home to every day!!!

I have nothing but praise for Alice! As Realtor, I have a lot of admiration for her design creativity and implementation abilities that bring her designs to reality. I highly recommend Alice!

We couldn't have asked for a better interior designer. Alice helped us design our kitchen and two bathrooms, and every choice felt beautiful, thoughtful, and true to how we actually live. She is incredibly organized — timelines were clear and nothing felt chaotic, even with multiple rooms in motion at once. And when it came to tough calls (like choosing between what felt like 1,000 different bold color options we liked for our main bedroom), Alice helped us weigh the options with real confidence and helpful intuition. Years later, we still love the space Alice helped create. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a designer with great taste and real professionalism.

I worked with Alice Chiu to redesign my kitchen and baths. She was responsive to all my questions and guided me through selecting tiles for the project, designed the lighting plan for the kitchen and dining room and so much more. As a first time renovator, there is so much know, Alice's advice and contacts were vital to a smooth project.

We've had the pleasure of working with Alice on several design projects, sourcing and supplying rugs for her clients' homes. She has an exceptional eye for design and a clear vision for each project, making the selection process both efficient and enjoyable. One project, in particular, involved creating a bespoke handmade rug for a mansion-sized residence. The rug needed to be custom contoured to fit the unique layout of the room—a highly complex undertaking. Alice's guidance, attention to detail, and design expertise were instrumental in bringing the project to life. Without her direction, it would have been incredibly difficult to achieve such a successful result. Alice is an excellent communicator, highly organized, and consistently ensures that her clients' needs and preferences are represented throughout every stage of the process. It's clear that she genuinely cares about delivering outstanding design outcomes while creating a positive experience for her clients. She is a reliable, professional, and collaborative partner, and we always look forward to working with her on future projects.

Working with Alice is refreshing. She truly listens to her clients' needs. As a realtor, I work with many interior designers and needed a designer who was willing to work with my clients' furnishings. Alice is not only creative; she is accommodating. She made a Victorian home look completely new and luxurious. She sees what no one else can see. A true visionary, she is pleasant, smart, clever, hip and original. I highly recommend Alice, you're missing out if you don't at least consider her for your design needs. I can't wait to work with her again and refer her to all my clients!

We had a fabulous experience working with Alice on our kitchen remodel. Although we kept the general layout the same, her vision brought far greater efficiency and functionality to the space than the original design ever had. Alice is an excellent listener with a tasteful, cohesive design perspective that complemented our entire home beautifully. We especially appreciated her collaborative approach and flexibility throughout the project as it evolved. She was equally comfortable managing every aspect of the renovation or allowing us to be hands-on and involved in the process. Beyond Alice’s keen design eye, she also works with reliable, professional tradespeople and vendors — an area where many interior designers fall short. It’s clear she has built strong, long-standing relationships with her team, and that trust translated into an exceptional finished product. I highly recommend working with Miss Alice Designs and would not hesitate to hire her again.
