MN Solar

We just got our solar panels from MN Solar. They're a phenomenal company. Clear, understanding, and easy to work with. Probably the best contractor I've ever worked with. Their solar panels were also very reasonably priced, and almost half the cost of other quotes (plus we own the panels, not lease them, like from All Energy Solar). They have a portal for communication, so you can easily reach out and track progress. We had an unexpected issue with the electrical company, and MN Solar went above and beyond expectations to address the issue and even help cover the cost. Everyone was friendly, professional, and great to work with. I really liked our electrician, Brian, who made sure to answer our (many) questions every step of the way. We didn't get batteries this time, but if/when we do, we will contact MN Solar in a heartbeat. 10/10 company.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. It was associated with a new construction project and they were very patient while we dealt with some construction delays. I found them to be very professional, competitively priced, easy to work with and responsive to my inquiries. On site, everyone from this company was respectful of the property, they kept a clean work site and they were all friendly and answered questions. I felt I had good support and back up from them as well after installation. I will use them again if we have another solar project.

In September of 2020, we started to get quotes for our Solar Array System. We received a few quotes, the most competitive, thorough, and detailed quote was thru Kim at MN Solar and More. Kim presented all the information and without pressure, left everything we needed to make our decision. When we decided, we asked MN Solar to come out and measure the roof and make sure that the system would fit as designed, and they did without a charge. We made arrangements for financing and scheduled the install to be completed by the year’s end, which MN Solar and More was able to do. Our beautiful 44 Canadian Solar panels mounted on IronRidge hardware with SolarEdge inverters shines and is completely uniform in looks and functionality. All wiring is completely tucked in our attic and looks fantastic. All of the employees, from the office, the installers, and electricians were easy to communicate and work with, including the uses of the Basecamp app. I highly recommend MN Solar and More for your solar needs! They were very fast in installing the system and we had one problem with it and they were right out and fixed it. They are a great company too work with.

I just wrapped up my second project with MN Solar. The first project was a commercial building. That went so well we decided to install solar at our house. The process was smooth from start to finish. Communication was fantastic. Questions were answered quickly and completely. The initial meeting didn't feel like a confusing oversell where you weren't really sure what the bottom line was. I appreciated the clear estimate so much, especially after meeting with a couple of other groups that had the exact opposite sale pitch. Our home install ran into one unexpected hiccup and the troubleshooting and clear communication was very much appreciated and impressed my husband who is in commercial construction.

I decided to go all the way with solar panels. The South facing long roof section was cleared with one vent pipe moved to the north side. a 2nd pipe was removed because it was not being used. This and use of the very short east and west roofs allowed space for 14.76 KW peak power. I had also read about leaking gas happening due to poor or old fittings, so the gas stove top, water heater and furnace were replaced with electric devises, including a heat exchager. Xcel accepts any electricity I don't use and supplies any that I need, with both directions at equal dollers. This means I pay out in the winter and get paid in warmer weather. I also bought an electric car so I don't buy any gas. My net cost of electricity from last spring to this spring was $440 for the year. That has reduced several thousand dollars a year.

MN Solar was quick and responsive. The gave an accurate quote with no hidden charges. The panels are up and generating free electricity!

My wife and I are into our 3rd year of watching our electrical bill from Xcel shrink to $0 for over half of each year thanks to the expert rooftop Solar panels installation with the design and expertise of MN Solar! …and the best thing is there’s absolutely nothing that homeowners’ like us ever need to do as the MN Solar panels and equipment are completely self-managed. The only thing we need to do is to cash those monthly solar checks from Xcel!

From start to finsih a great company and people to design and build out our solar. Everything negative from weather and city misinformed permit department they plowed through and got the job done. Communication was great. All from the owner, installers and their electician was a great experience and I learned a lot. I highly recommend them.

Loving my solar panels. What a difference they make. The staff has always been responsive and professional
