Ally was incredible! Cocker Spaniels can be tougher to groom but she gave him a perfect cut and exactly what I requested. ☺️
- Price assessment: Great price

Customers frequently praise the mobile grooming service for punctuality, clear communication, and attention to specific haircut requests for dogs and cats. Positive reviews highlight the professionalism of staff and the convenience of at-home appointments. However, several low-star reviews cite recurring issues with last-minute cancellations, missed arrival times, and billing disputes, alongside complaints about language barriers and grooming errors that resulted in pet injuries.

PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING A DECISION TO BOOK. I contacted this company and scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, they texted me 5 minutes before my scheduled appointment time to let me know they were running behind and would be late. Unfortunately, I had plans afterward, so I had to cancel. Later that week, I decided to call back and give them another opportunity because I understand that things happen. The second time, they arrived on time, but unfortunately, my experience went downhill from there. When they opened the grooming van, I immediately noticed that it was extremely dirty and covered in dog hair. What made this even more concerning was that I was their first appointment of the day. To see the van already in that condition first thing in the morning was honestly shocking. It made me question whether the van had been properly cleaned and sanitized before starting the day’s appointments. There was hair everywhere, and the overall condition of the van was not what I would expect from a professional grooming service. It was honestly a very concerning first impression. I explained to the groomer that my Cocker Spaniel, Oliver, was matted. I’m freshly postpartum and unfortunately haven’t been able to keep up with brushing him the way I normally would. The groomer recommended shaving him down, which I completely understood because I would never want him to be in pain from trying to brush out severe mats. They showed us how short they planned to cut his hair, and I agreed because the length they showed us still left a reasonable amount of hair. They then sent me a waiver stating that they weren’t responsible or liable for red spots or scratches that could occur from shaving a matted dog. I’ve had Oliver professionally groomed multiple times and have never been asked to sign something like this, but I signed it because they already had my dog and I trusted that they knew what they were doing. The grooming took about an hour. When I went to pick Oliver up, I was extremely disappointed. He was shaved much shorter than what we were shown and agreed to. His toes weren’t properly rounded with scissors; they looked like they had simply been shaved down. Overall, the grooming was so poorly done that he didn’t even look like a Cocker Spaniel anymore. Before booking any grooming service, one of my first questions is always whether the groomer has experience with Cocker Spaniels. I specifically asked this company because I wanted someone who knew how to properly groom the breed. I was assured that they groom many Cocker Spaniels and that I would be assigned their best groomer. Unfortunately, based on the result, I did not feel that the groomer had the experience I was told they had. I completely understand that Oliver needed to be shaved because of his matting. That is NOT what I’m upset about. I’ve had other groomers shave him when he was matted, but they were still able to leave some length where possible and properly shape and finish his coat. It honestly felt like the groomer only knew how to do one cut: shave him completely down. When I went downstairs to pick Oliver up, the van was still covered in hair and looked just as messy. Seeing the condition of the van before my dog’s grooming and again afterward really added to my concerns about the level of cleanliness and professionalism. I will say that their customer service over the phone was very nice, and I have no complaints about the people I spoke with on the phone. My issue is that I was repeatedly reassured about the groomer’s experience and the service I would receive, and unfortunately, the actual service did not match what I was promised. I moved recently, which is why I needed to find a new groomer for Oliver. I always try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt and give people a second chance because I understand that things happen. Looking back, I probably should have trusted my gut after receiving that last-minute text before the first appointment. I will not be returning to this company
Hi Mila, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Oliver. We’re truly sorry that the service you received did not meet your expectations. We understand that Oliver had significant matting and that a shorter haircut was necessary for his comfort and safety. While a shave-down was discussed and authorized, we also understand your frustration that the final length was shorter than you expected. When the condition of the coat requires us to go shorter than initially anticipated, communication with the owner is extremely important, and we are reviewing this with our team. We are also taking your comments regarding the condition of the van very seriously. A van that appears dirty or has excessive hair buildup does not meet our standards, regardless of the circumstances. Our grooming vans are expected to be clean, organized, and professionally presented for every customer. We appreciate that you gave us a second opportunity and also appreciate your kind words about our customer service team. Your feedback has been shared with management and is being addressed directly with the team involved. We’re sorry we did not provide the experience you expected, and we wish you and Oliver the very best.
Our groomer did a great job on Chester! Did exactly what we asked for and he looks absolutely fantastic!! ☺️
Very happy with the service, they are some good looking, smelling babies :) friendly staff, great communication and pricing.
Had a fabulous experience! They were on time, friendly, and you could tell the groomer was experienced, which is important. The grooming service was quick which is especially important for the health of my dog. I have used other mobile grooming services before and no one provided this level of service. This will be our new groomer moving forward!
My Chavo was handsome with his haircut and groomed hair. Thank you Valeria for your service and kindness. Of course I recommend this company.
I was happy the first time I got their service, the lady took time to work through my dogs matted hair, they didn't need to be shaved down, but this time , there were a lot of misunderstandings on the price, the groomer couldn't work on the matted hair, frustrated this time.
This is the first time I’ve experienced them lying to me. I was told by them through their WhatsApp business account that they’d be present at 6pm on 07/14 to groom my cat. It is 7pm as I’m writing this. I’ve been asking for updates repeatedly and no one answers me. This is deeply unprofessional and gross of you to do.
I moved a year ago from Miami and was sad in the beginning because I couldn’t find a reliable mobile Pet Grooming until I found Mobile Pet Grooming World. Very efficient on time and courteous always leave my dog looking beautiful and smelling delicious. Thank you for taking care of my baby.
Had booked about a week in advance. I asked if he serviced my area during the time of booking and said he did. The morning of the service (about 20 minutes of the scheduled arrival time) I asked him to text me when he arrived. He quickly responded saying that he will not be coming because it’s too far for him and expensive. He’s in Clermont and I live in Chino. I also had 4 dogs that he was going to service. Again, I booked about a week in advance. Completely unprofessional!
Hi Teresa, thank you for sharing your experience, we completely understand how frustrating that situation must have been. After carefully reviewing our records, we were unable to locate any appointment under your name or with the details described. Based on the locations mentioned (Clermont and Chino), it’s possible there may be a mix-up with another company, as we currently only operate within Florida service areas. If this is the case, we kindly ask that you review the details and update your review accordingly. That said, your experience matters, and we would never want anyone to go through something like this with our team. If you believe this may have involved our company, please reach out to us directly so we can investigate further and make things right. You can contact us at +1 407-216-3120 or visit www.mobilepetgroomingworld.com. We’re always here to help.
