The energy at Molly’s Sanyour Ceramics Studio is infectious—in the absolute best way! The founder herself brings such a welcoming vibe, and the entire team is so helpful and encouraging. I was first introduced to the studio through a Yelp event, where I had the opportunity to use the pottery wheel for the first time and created a little jewelry bowl. It was such a fun and memorable experience! I recently returned for an art exhibit and had the chance to admire some of the beautiful pieces created by the artists, especially Kat and Chanel. I absolutely love the vibe of this studio. It feels creative, welcoming, and like a place where you can truly come as you are and explore your creativity. I’m seriously considering joining the Clay Café or signing up for the 8-week program—I’m just checking my schedule to see where I’m being led! Overall, no need to overthink it—Molly’s Sanyour Studio is the place to be! If you’ve been looking for a fun, creative experience or simply want to try something new, definitely check them out.

My husband and I came for a two-hour workshop on my birthday last year, and I loved it so much I couldn’t stop talking about the eight-week course. Life got busy, and I never made it back. Then, for my birthday this year, he surprised me with the course. I’m so grateful he did. I just finished my first eight weeks and have already signed up for another. From the start, everyone was welcoming and encouraging. Molly, the owner, sets that tone. She’s personable, caring, and always willing to help. We learned different techniques throughout the course, but we also had the freedom to make whatever we wanted. Her guidance made me feel comfortable trying new things and more confident in what I could create. The art show at the end was incredible. I’d watched people build and glaze their pieces week after week, so seeing everyone’s finished work on display felt so special. I invited friends and family to celebrate, and some of them left wanting to sign up for a class too! This studio has become a place I genuinely look forward to going. If you’re thinking about trying a workshop or taking the eight-week course, I can’t recommend it enough. Molly makes the experience.

I went to a Yelp event held at Molly’s studio, and I honestly had such a good time. From what I can remember, I had never really worked with clay before, but it immediately felt like home. I barely looked through the book before my mind started running. I had seen a mug with glasses and a face before, but since Halloween is my favorite holiday, mine naturally became a little grotesque. Before I knew it, people were asking if I was sure I wasn’t the instructor. Then we got an extra ball of clay, and somehow my mind immediately went to teeth and a tongue. I don’t know why, but I went with it! The whole experience was creative, relaxing, and genuinely fun. Molly was so nice and hospitable, and the staff was incredibly helpful, even teaching me techniques like scoring so all my little pieces would actually stay attached. Parking was also super easy, with plenty of spaces in the lot and additional parking across the street at the church. I uploaded pictures of some of the upcoming classes, so definitely take a look at those. I left thinking I may have found myself a new hobby, and I already want to come back.

AMAZING! This was an incredible experience. If you’re looking for a fulfilling creative outlet then this is it. They rolled out a red carpet for us. As you walk in, you notice that the walls were adorned with ceramic pieces made by patrons and students. You have the option of using the wheel or doing hand building to create something with clay. You’ll most likely gravitate towards one over the other. Molly is so professional, talented and inviting. She’s guided some of her students to do high-quality work in just 2 months in the 8-week program. She’s brilliant at what she does. Her space is so clean and aesthetic. They even had a lovely ice bucket full of wine in the corner to give us a little liquid confidence to do our best. I enjoyed it and can’t wait to pick up the pinch bowl I made. Plus, it was so cool to find out that the Real Housewives of Atlanta came here to craft as well on a recent episode. This is a true hot spot in Atlanta and I heard this business shares the same building with a premier coffee shop in the city.

Thank you so much for this AMAZING review!!! We loved having you in the studio and are so happy you had such a great experience with us! Creating a welcoming space where people can come in, try something new, get their hands in clay, and discover their own creativity is exactly what we hope to do. And thank you for the incredibly kind words about our students and their work. We are SO proud of what they create in just eight weeks! We can’t wait for you to come back and pick up your pinch bowl, and hopefully this won’t be your last time creating with us! Thank you for celebrating our little Atlanta clay community and for taking the time to share your experience. It truly means so much to us! ❤️

Had a great time and it's a great location in the community. I recommend going to the Clay Cafe, it's opening up soon. Perfect for date night or just something to do solo on a Friday night.

I think it might actually be impossible to have a bad time here?? I impulsively signed up for an 8 week class after living in Atlanta for maybe a week. I had no prior experience save for a two hour wheel class years ago. I’ve already learned so much. The best part of the studio though is that everyone here is so welcoming and positive and fun! I feel comfortable asking anyone in the studio about a billion questions, and everyone is eager to help. Molly is a great teacher (and never gets bothered with my barrage of questions), but she is an even better experience curator. I’ve already signed up for another 8 weeks 👀

Okay, we LOVE this review!!! 😂❤️ Signing up for an 8-week pottery class after living in Atlanta for ONE WEEK might be one of the best ways to make a new city feel like home! Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words about the studio, our community, and my teaching. And for the record, KEEP THE BILLION QUESTIONS COMING!!! That’s exactly what we’re here for. Watching people come in with little or no clay experience, learn, experiment, make friends, and start feeling like this is their studio too is one of my absolute favorite parts of what we’ve created here. And the fact that you’ve already signed up for ANOTHER eight weeks?! 👀 We’ll see you in the studio!!! ❤️
