I'd gave Mooresville Tax Service 1 instead of a 2 because they suggested they refund my 2K retainer after I told them I'd never been asked for a $2000 retainer and asked them about projected total cost. I noted that while I had multiple tax years to do, unless they had some really good tax deductions i didn't know about, my deductions would be very basic. I did not have a business, etc... I'm just ordinary people. When I asked about those things, Chrisann told me about a $450 an hour IRS rep if needed and $750 to $850 fee for each tax year, followed by telling me she thought it best if they refund our $2000 retainer and we coukd come by and pick it up. I hadn't even asked for it back. She was like, come get it, we know you not going to let us rip you off on a basic tax return. So, unless you're a doctor, lawyer or in real estate with big tax troubles.... in other words, RICH. Don't bother. And even if you are rich, dont bother.

I am having trouble responding as this is the first time MTAX hasn't received a 5-Star Review which has me tongue-tied. First let me state as the owner I always want to meet a client's expectations and with you we did not succeed. I am a little surprise by the low score considering you were refunded all monies and were out $0. In fact the only one who lost money in this experience was me. With that said I would still like to speak with you to get more clarity where we dropped the ball. Obviously this happened during our most busiest time of year (Tax Season) so my involvement was minimal.
I would like our failure to turn into an opportunity for my company to grow so I am inviting you to call our office at 704-360-1040 and set a meeting at your convenience to discuss the events and get your input on where we can improve. Hopefully you will afford me this opportunity and I can gain something from our meeting that I can share with my staff.
