Customers frequently cite punctuality, clear communication, and detailed explanations of plumbing issues, including complex repairs like sewer line replacements and slab leak diagnostics. Recurring themes highlight professional conduct and thoroughness during inspections and installations. However, several lower-rated reviews criticize the company for high pricing, noting costs significantly above competitors for similar services and instances of price increases after initial estimates.

I recently had Mother Modern Plumbing replace all the cast-iron waste plumbing in my 70-year-old house with PVC. This required digging tunnels under the slab, laying new PVC waste pipes just under the slab and in the front yard, chipping through the bottom of the slab to cut away the cast-iron waste pipes and connect the PVC for a kitchen and two bathrooms, connecting the new yard line to the city sewer line, permitting the work, and backfilling the tunnels.
I was impressed by every company employee I interacted with and felt that they respected me and my property. I was also very happy with the contracted excavators, who had to work within the small area between my house and pool and were gracious enough to leave a narrow path so my dog and I could get to the backyard; they also did a great job cleaning up and returning everything to its place after backfilling.
The lead installer, Nick Davis, was especially impressive and detail-oriented. He clearly wanted me to be happy with the work, was always willing to answer questions, and addressed all my concerns without hesitation and with a smile. For example, one of my bathroom floor tiles was scratched when one of the toilets was uninstalled, and he had someone out to repair the tile the very next day. You can’t tell that the tile was ever scratched.
Having to replace your waste plumbing is costly, and I feel like the price I paid was a little on the high end, but there’s peace of mind in knowing that the job was done right.
Both Grant and Anthony did outstanding work today. They replaced my clean out pipes in front of my house and backfilled after they were done. Professional and nice. It was a pleasure to deal with them. Highly recommend this company. Second time we have used them and everyone is so well mannered and kind.

I recently had outdoor spigots replaced and Grant did a really great job. He gave a clear explanation of the parts and labor required and let me know what to expect if he found any issues once he got past the brick. Luckily there were no issues and he was able to complete everything in the time he estimated. I would highly recommend Grant and Mother Modern Plumbing.

Gabriel did a wonderful job of replacing my outside water faucet that had been leaking for some time. He was prompt, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend him for his quick service and look forward in working with him in the future. I live in the Irving/Grand Prairie area so his company services the metroplex area. The best thing is I have a 6 year warranty and a brand new frost faucet so if anything happens to it , it will be serviced and replaced for free! The company communicated well ahead of time to schedule and notify me when he was 15 minutes from my home.
Coupons are also available and special promotions which helps with the total price.
