Mount Moriah Child Development Center

I want to start by saying that the teachers are wonderful, caring, and dedicated. I truly appreciate the attention and kindness they show to the children. However, one thing I was not happy with was the food provided and the meal schedule. Breakfast is served at 8:30 AM, lunch at 10:30 AM, and snack time is at 1:30 PM. My concern is that children who stay at daycare from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM go approximately 4.5 hours without another meal or snack after 1:30 PM. In my opinion, that is too long for young children. I also felt that the portions of food served were too small for growing children. I believe that both the quantity of food and the time between meals are very important, especially for young children who spend most of their day at daycare. I think the school should reconsider the meal schedule, offer more appropriate portions, and provide an additional afternoon snack for children who stay until closing time. Overall, I truly appreciate the teachers and their dedication, but I believe the food and meal schedule are important areas that need improvement.

We are so thankful for Mt. Moriah and their incredibly loving and caring staff. Our daughter spent her first year in daycare here, and we feel so blessed for the opportunity. We are still so sad we moved and had to change daycares. From the extremely clean facility to the loving and nurturing staff, we always felt like our daughter was in the best hands. Her face would light up when she saw Mrs. Emilie each morning, and we looked forward to Ms. Kristy and Ms. Chris greeting us each morning and afternoon. Their leadership truly shines throughout the daycare. It’s not easy to leave your child at daycare, but we truly knew she was loved and cared for like their own. We will always be so grateful for the love, care, and memories they gave our daughter during her first year. We highly recommend Mt. Moriah!

Mount Moriah is an answer to prayer! I had my son in another daycare prior to coming here and it took a toll on him and myself. He has a milk/dairy allergy, that his other daycare did not take it seriously. Coming here, they have taken my sons health into serious consideration and ask all of the time about meals and snacks they will be having. Their staff is incredibly kind and caring. My son comes home happy, well taken care of and even loves going into school in the mornings! We LOVE Mount Moriah!

Every teacher is kind, caring, patient, and truly passionate about helping children learn and grow. It's such a comfort knowing our child is in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment every day. The communication with parents is outstanding, and we always appreciate the updates and the genuine care they show for every child. We've seen so much growth in our child's confidence, social skills, and love of learning since attending. It's clear that the entire team goes above and beyond to create a positive, engaging, and loving atmosphere. My son has been a part of Mount Moriah Child Development Center since he was just 3 months old, and today marked his last day as he gets ready to start kindergarten tomorrow. I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about this daycare center. The teachers are exceptional, and Kristy, the owner, is nothing short of amazing. It’s hard to imagine not dropping him off there anymore. Every member of the staff has played a meaningful role in my son’s growth and development. Not only did he receive an excellent early education that has prepared him well for grade school, but I also had complete peace of mind each day knowing he was in such loving, capable hands. The care, attention, and genuine love shown to him over the years have meant the world to us. Mount Moriah CDC will always hold a very special place in our hearts. I’m beyond grateful to the entire team for everything they’ve done for our family.

We loved this place! My baby was there for almost a year and it was a wonderful experience. The place was always spotless. I’ll always be grateful to Mrs. Emilie for all the love and care she gave to my little boy!
