I needed a 60 feet of 6 foot high block wall installed in my backyard shared with a neighbor with multiple large dogs that live to jump on the wall to talk to our Cavalier. The contractor was timely and efficient in completing the wall installed two and a half days, even in temperatures in the high 90s. It was a relief to have the project completed with no interruption and in a timely manner. Company very efficient, professional and communicative.

Mountain Side put in a concrete floor into my shop. they showed up when they said they would, were very professional and did a wonderful job. I recommend them highly.

Although the actual cement and asphalt work was done very well, our HOA agreed to the job based on the bid/estimate they gave. Mountainside had the lowest bid. They came out and started the job, and that same morning, after starting the job, a worker then said that they had under underestimated what they would need to charge. When we asked how much more, the worker said he didn't know because a different department would have to get back to us, but it probably wouldn't be that much.
Of course, they were already there, starting the job before we heard they wanted to charge more than their bid. When we got the bill it was a a big surprise--not quite double, but about 3/4ths again what our board had approved based on their bid. They refused to negotiate the bill with us. We are very disappointed in the billing exceeding the estimate by so much and that the work had already started before being notified of the huge increase in what Mountainside billed compared to their bid.

Pam, we appreciate you acknowledging the quality of our concrete work. However, we would like to clarify the circumstances regarding the final invoice.
Our original estimate was based solely on the areas identified by an HOA representative during our initial walkthrough. Once work began, we were asked by another HOA representative to inspect additional areas and identify sections needing replacement due to their condition and pedestrian safety concerns.
This resulted in significantly more square footage, which was discussed and verbally approved before the additional work was completed. The additional work was billed at the exact same price per square foot as our original contract. The increase was due to the expanded scope, not an increase in our pricing.
We understand the final amount may have been unexpected, but MountainSide completed the additional work based on the direction and approval provided by HOA representatives. We stand behind the quality of our work and the fairness of our billing.
We chose Mountain Side Contractors from the bids we received based on the positive reviews from existing/former customers. We are VERY pleased with our results! Our back yard looks completely updated and we love it! We have a new 40’ patio, a nice pergola and all previously damaged stucco siding is not only completely repairs but it matches adjoining walls. We highly recommend Mountain Side! Their pricing was also very reasonable. We’ve posted our “before” and “after” pics- amazing!

The team led by Luis was incredible. They did our entire patio removal and repour in only two days. Along with their fine work, the crew was incredibly friendly and helpful when we had questions. The attention to detail when they cleaned up our driveway and yard was also great. Would recommend them for your concrete needs!

bad customer service, had some questions regarding a demolition project, only answering my questions with one worded answers and eventually they just told me "I gotta go" and hung up on me with no explanation
Except for the glitch with the city inspector. The process went well. The new drive is quite appealing (compared to the crusty, eroded old one I've had since I bought the house 20+years ago). The guys were friendly and informative. I"m not one for recommending *anything*, but I had a friend that was looking to dow some concrete work, and I pointed him in your direction.
