We have brought our dog Nugget here twice so far and actually have a third stay booked in the coming months.

I really like how they invite you out to meet your dog beforehand to ensure it will be a good fit. Mark also gave us a tour of the entire facility--he was great to speak and schedule with.

The rest of the staff is very friendly and you can tell they are passionate about caring for the pups. They take any instructions you leave them seriously (such as feeding instructions, specific care, etc).

The property is absolutely beautiful and you can tell the design was very intentional and made by someone who loves dogs.

Every time we pick up Nugget she acts as if she doesn't even recognize us! She has so much fun and I love getting to see her photos of her time here--she always looks so happy and even makes a couple of new friends.

This really is a special boarding facility; it is unlike anything you'll find anywhere else and it is so worth the drive. You really have to see it to see just how impressive the property is.

P.S.: if you have a very anxious dog with severe separation anxiety, it's probably best you don't leave them at ANY boarding facility. Consider an in-home pet sitter instead.

Reviewers highlight the facility's spacious grounds, daily photo updates, and staff who match dogs into compatible play groups. Customers appreciate the pre-visit meet-and-greet process and the accommodation of specific dietary or behavioral needs. However, low-star reviews cite instances of poor communication during emergencies, perceived rudeness in scheduling interactions, and concerns about cleanliness and dog safety.

We have boarded our Golden here many, many times. He is a strong, healthy boy (not on any meds) and is super happy when we pick him up. He does get a little smelly.

We don’t get much communication but they are starting to post pictures to a Google photo album.

They have had issues with people not paying in the past so they are now cash or check only and have an ATM on site. Hopefully they will add website payment at some point.

We boarded with a kennel in Oregon that was highly recommended by our breeder and got even less communication but our pup was fine so perhaps that is the norm for busy places.
My dog Rilo used to go here a lot because we were neighbors but ever since Zuzis x moved in everything was horrible. Shot guns, scared my family, not answered calls for dogsitting and is doing a lot of construction and waaayyy more fireworks than Zuzi would ever use. And you want to know why because she actually cares about the living dogs. I hate you now but loved you Zuzi feel bad warning there are no dogs here they hate them.
Our dog had the time of her life here! I really appreciated getting the photo updates on an almost daily basis. She isn’t usually in boarding environments so she was a little confused in her room, but the staff sat with her and gave her lots of love to calm her down. Super appreciated from an anxious dog dad :) They’ve got seperate housing and play areas for pups that are more shy/don’t mix well with others which I thought was really nice. They’ve thought everything through and the property is gorgeous. Really easy drop off and pickup as well!

The only thing to note is they don’t accept online payments, don’t send invoices in advance, and the paperwork was all done on hard copies. Definitely old school but didn’t cause any problems for us. $70 a night is a great rate for what you’re getting. We’ll be back!!

Friendly, personable staff, but the booking process can seem a little daunting (probably due to their limited WiFi connectivity). They allow room sharing, their rooms have a/c, give plenty of off leash play time, and posted pictures almost daily.
We will definitely bring our dogs back.

I had my dog booked for a stay later in August but cancelled after the owner was rude and unhelpful when I emailed him to make sure I had everything ready for my dog’s stay. I called their phone number to speak to someone and there was a message that said to reach out via email to schedule a meet and greet, which is one of the things I was calling about. So I sent the following email:

“ Hi,

I'm trying to schedule my meet and greet for my dog, B***. He has reservations for later in August under P*** F**********. Additionally, I am double checking what all I need for his vet records? He has an appointment next Thursday, so I want to make sure I get everything done that you require.

Thanks!
Emily”

I received an email in reply telling me that he was confused and which did not answer any of my inquiries. Nine minutes after he replied to my email, he responded to an email chain with my boyfriend from 2024. It doesn’t appear that he took the time to check his schedule for our current bookings (which he did confirm in later correspondence) and instead sent my boyfriend the following:

“ Please do not email any documents.

The emails that I am looking at from folks on this thread are almost 1.5 years old.

Are you trying to board your dogs together? Are you from the same household?

It would be helpful if you could send separate emails for each of your needs.

This is the most confusing email thread(s) including my 15 years at Microsoft and 25 in tech in general. Not sure how to help you.

Mark”

Now, I can understand temporary confusion from not looking at his schedule first. But to respond this way and include insults about how confusing he found my email to be (the worst in his collective tech career, apparently) was completely out of line and unnecessary. All I did was follow the directions on their voice message. Anyways, we cancelled our reservation and found another place where the staff can communicate professionally and I’m not concerned about them caring for my dog.

The owner could have simply checked his schedule for our reservation and answered my questions, but instead he chose to email both of us separately and make a mess of things. So weird. As someone who has worked in the veterinary field for over 20 years, I’ll pass and find businesses who can be more professional.
Sorry things did not work out as you expected Karen.
Easy check-in and out nice to see people who care about animals
I can not write about an expierence that my dog has had BUT I can write a review about their customer service.
These are the nicest people. We went for a meet and greet and Mark was so nice and upfront about everything.
Then, I had to call and cancel, I was a little nervous because it was 2 days before I was supposed to drop her off, I didn't sense any frustration over the phone.
They were so nice and understanding.

I hope to have my dog expierence a vacation there sometime, until then their communication is great!
Update… the only email I received in two weeks. Sounded like she was doing ok. Instead they are claiming it was so extreme, basically an emergency, but doesn’t call me, I could have had someone pick her up! I have a vet bill now for a staph infections on her stomach and her neck, This place did not care about my dog, did not notice or communicate that there was an issue. They wanted the money and not to have her stay end early. Should have never paid!!! Posting the vet bill with the date.

Do not board here!!! Zero communication other than a couple photos they post once in a while. My dog has anxiety and doesn’t do well being alone in her room, I was emailing constantly to get some sort of update! Gone for two weeks. I received one response! Now the worst part, I picked up my dog, she was filthy, her bed and toys, filthy! She has patches of infected looking skin! Hair loss and needed medical attention immediately! I paid $1050 for boarding!! At a facility who didn’t look after her or see that something was wrong! Filthy conditions and my dog with skin infections! am awaiting the vet appointment for tomorrow.
Yes, Aponi has severe anxiety and clearly does not like being a room. Aponi played well with other dogs outside, but we do have to put them in rooms, and cannot stay in the room with them. Aponi caused extensive damage to the room in spite of all the medication/sedatives given at your direction. We keep our facility clean. Some of the rooms do get dirty as the dogs track mud in and out when it is raining. We do not have onsite ability to wash dog beds on a regular basis. We do offer bathing services prior to pick up which you did not ask for. The majority of the 'mess' in Aponi's room was wood chips caused by Aponi chewing up everything possible in the room. We did communicate with you about the anxiety, but talking back and forth on a daily basis, while your are on vacation, does nothing to help Aponi's anxiety. Dogs with severe anxiety will chew or scratch off fur. We have had issues in the past with Aponi's anxiety, and given this last stay it is clear that your dog is not suitable for a boarding environment... at least ours. There are other facilities that board a small number of dogs in a home environment. That would probably work. Sorry your experience was bad... it was hard to watch Aponi suffer like that.
Great spot they take good care of the doggos when we leave town. Special treat they offer, pics online updated all day so you can check in on them.
