Thank you to the entire crew for a thorough, clean, and complete job installing our first heat pump unit. Everyone was highly professional and knowledgeable, which gave us total confidence that the installation would be completed correctly and on time. While we still have a lot to learn about the system, the team did a wonderful job providing basic instructions for the thermostat, along with helpful tips for navigating the system and the app as we get used to it. We truly appreciate the excellent service!
This is for the installation of a new heater for $12,800. 10/27/26
The service by Christian P. and Alonso V. was excellent. They responded to all my many questions and explained how to operate the system. They were courteous, helpful and even took away shelving by the heater, which I much appreciated.

Go no further, you have found the best! I had been going a little crazy trying to unravel bids for getting rid of the knob and tube in my 1920's home. Between the old wiring, the previous owner's DIY and the bids that come back with lots of line items and no explanations - I was going a little crazy - putting together spread sheets and consulting AI to help me understand bids, distinguish between necessities and add ons. Then, through a stroke of good timing I saw an instagram ad and called Mr Poppy and everything changed.
The phone dispatcher was knowledgeable and efficient and within 24 hours wonderful Conor was at my door! I can't say enough about Conor - he was instantly likeable and took his time walking through the house giving everything a very thorough inspection. He patiently explained everything as he was inspecting and voluntarily advised on what needed to be done and why - for insurance, for code, because it was cheaper to do while walls were open, etc. He also pointed out what possible upgrades would be advisable to consider and why. Conor understood the beauty as well as the challenge of an old lathe and plaster wall and volunteered to make small "fishing holes" so as to keep the patching to a minimum. Amazingly, Mr Poppy also can patch - so no extra work on my part coordinating another contractor and trying to convince them to patch without sheetrock! By the time Conor left I felt he was completely looking out for my best interest.
The attitude, integrity and work effort at Mr Poppy is top notch. Given the current climate in California where everyone is busy and stretched and grumpy, it is a breath of fresh air to work with a group that takes pride in not only doing great work but making sure that the client is heard and communicated well with. I can't recommend Mr Poppy more!

These guys are the best! We needed a major knob and tube replacement throughout our home, and we received expert, price and customer-centered advice about how to get that done.
