I was in a rush and needed alterations for a wedding in a week with a dress that was way too big for me! I was not turned away from Lin even though multiple places in the area told me it would take too long and did not want to alter my dress in a week. Lin took me in and my dress was altered to PERFECTION. Well worth the price. Will return for all future alterations. Thank you Lin!

My Airy alterations is amazing!! I had a full suit tailored - jacket sleeves shortened, pants hemmed, and darts put in my shirt. All alterations were done flawlessly and Ms. Lynn was able to turn them around for me in 3 days with a small fee for expedited tailoring! She is very kind and personable and listens to exactly what you want. Her prices are a little cheaper than the larger shops as she is a small operation but the quality is top notch! Her shop is very quaint and she makes you feel right at home! I will definitely be coming back!

I highly recommend Ms. Lynn of Mt. Airy Alterations. She has completed four alterations for me, and her work has consistently been polished, professional, and impeccable. My first alteration was a formal gown. Ms. Lynn carefully examined the fabric, lining, and seams, then had me try on the dress so she could pin and mark the exact adjustments directly on my body. She made sure the fit was both flattering and comfortable. When I returned to pick it up, she offered me the opportunity to try it on and confirm the fit. A dart in the bust area had been overlooked, but she immediately corrected it while I waited. Since then, she has replaced a zipper and hemmed two pairs of pants—one pair of jeans and one pair of joggers—with equally excellent results. Her prices are higher than what I was accustomed to paying for alterations on a military base, but that is understandable, and the quality of her work is worth it. Her turnaround time is generally about one week, and she has always been accurate and dependable regarding both the quoted cost and completion date. Ms. Lynn provides careful, skilled, and trustworthy service. I will definitely continue bringing my garments to Mt. Airy Alterations.
