I was both suspicious and intrigued when I saw this company had so many perfect 5 star reviews on Google and other platforms. I now know why. I left my three cats in the care of Music City Cats for one week and I was completely blown away by the service. The process to get started is streamlined and professional. They come to your home for an introduction and to gather information. This was so complete, they even asked me things I hadn't even thought to include in the paperwork. They are very detail-oriented which gave me confidence they could take care of my three, even with one cat needing daily medication and other as-needed medications for various health issues. There were contingencies in place for the severe cold weather and power outages we were expected to experience at the time as well (January/Feb 2026). They truly care about the animals well-being and seem adaptable to complications based on our conversations about the weather and reading other client's reviews. During our trip, I received a thorough update for each scheduled visit complete with pictures of everyone. So, if you schedule two visits a day, you get two updates! If I had questions or concerns, they were addressed rapidly. The communication was great. This was the first time I have left my cats in the care of someone I didn't know personally. I was very anxious to do so. However, with the regular updates and open communication I was able to truly relax and enjoy my vacation knowing everything was being taken care of at home. They exceeded my expectations and I will be using them again in the future.

Music City Cats is a team of angels and cat whisperers! They have taken care of my boys a few times now and have always gone above and beyond to make things as perfect as can be while I'm gone. From feeding food and treats to playing, brushing, and cuddling, they totally pamper my cats. They send detailed and thoughtful updates after each visit and always include adorable high quality photos of the cats, throwing in a photo of a clean litter box for good measure. I also love that they take away empty wet food cans and clean the sink after feeding, making sure that nothing could make the house smell bad. Renee (the general manager) recently showed that she will do whatever it takes to get to my kitties! While I was out of the country, my old house's deadbolt wasn't working properly-- she went to the hardware store to buy lock lubricant and did everything she could to get it to work. In the end, with my permission of course, she climbed through a window that was blessedly unlocked!!! General heroism aside, this team is simply wonderful and they truly love cats. I can have total peace of mind knowing my boys are being spoiled while I'm gone, and they're always so relaxed when I get home. <3

Music City Cats is truly a gem! They took incredible care of my three cats while I was on vacation, and I couldn’t have asked for a more attentive and compassionate team. What really sets them apart is the attention to detail—they send the most thoughtful, comprehensive updates after each visit, complete with photos, notes on behavior, feeding, litter, and playtime. It’s clear they genuinely love and understand cats. On top of that, they went above and beyond for me during a medical emergency by accommodating a last-minute booking without hesitation. I have been using Music City Cats for years and am always impressed by the care they provide. Most recently, my cat was showing signs that he may be sick while I was out of the country. My nerves were immediately put to rest when Renee took the time out of her Thanksgiving celebrations to call me and make a plan for how to ensure that my cat gets the care he needs. Lexy and Renee assured me that they had the situation under control. Not only did Renee offer to bring my boy to the vet AND follow up with the veterinary office the next day to set him up with an appointment, but Lexy also was kind enough to take the initiative to stop by my home for a second visit to check on him before ending the day (also on Thanksgiving Day!). You can tell that everyone with Music City Cats genuinely cares about their services and the kitties, and I will never be able to say enough great things about Music City Cats.

If I could leave ZERO STARS I would! This company has gone down the toilet since 2023. My wife has constantly tried to contact Kevin the owner about a horrible issue with a visit, and he has ignored all her calls. It's pretty evident he isn't even interested in running his own company anymore, with the introduction of an unnecessary general manager named Renee who is just as bad at retuning calls as he. I've heard they can't even keep cat sitters for very long, and the best ones they had have left because of the toxic environment. They need to do whatever they can to bring back the sitters from the East and Germantown area in 2022 who actually cared about our cats and went above and beyond to care for them. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews - clearly these other people have low standards! AVOID MUSIC CITY CATS AT ALL COSTS!

I am so blown away by the service provided by everyone who works for Music City Cats. My first visit a couple years ago, the owner (Kevin) came to do the meet and greet himself, he brought a peacock feather for my cats to help condition them to look forward to sitter visits. When I used them most recently, the new General Manager came out to do a meet and greet, as I had moved since the last time I used their services. She was equally as knowledgable about feline behavior (and brought the beloved peacock feather!), she explained what has changed since they expanded (all good things!) and spent a whole 45 minutes at my home (free of charge) meeting my cats and gathering info about their needs and personalities. Then the daily sitter (Jules) who watched my cats daily was AMAZING. Her message updates and photos were the highlight of my day while I was on my trip, and I loved sharing them with my family. From my experience, everyone who works for this organization truly loves cats and puts serious effort into learning about feline behavior and specializing their services to every cat and owner's individual needs. I promise that if you're a crazy cat person like me, the peace of mind these folks give you while you're away from home is worth every penny.

I don’t usually leave reviews but wanted to say the Music City Cats team is exceptional! They truly love and care for your babies and their little story updates and pictures are adorable. I always know my kitties are in good hands. Five stars!

MCC are cat people through and through. They will treat your cats and your house like their own!

Music City Cats is hands down the best cat care I’ve ever had. MCC has provided my cat(s) with so much love and care throughout the years, and not once have I ever worried about my cats when I’m out of town thanks to them. It’s safe, affordable, and the most preferable scenario for your cat (we all know how much they hate leaving their homes, LOL). Some more about MCC: -They’re all such kind people, and it translates into the way they treat your cat when you’re gone. -They are a cats-only business, so they only hire sitters are good with cats. -They make sure to do even do a meet and greet before the actual sitting days so they can get to know your cat’s personality type. -They have an app where you can message the caregiver, see photos of your cat, schedule visits, etc. This was long (my apologies) but I strongly encourage cat owners in Nashville to use this business.
