We had a great experience with Music Lab. My daughter got singing lessons from two amazing teacher Ms Sulcer and Ms Bartlett. The teaching staff is well curated and the organization is very well managed. Ms Kaitlin is very considerate and helps a lot finding the right teacher and accommodate the schedule. We tried some other institutions, but this has been the best.
They were extremely welcoming to a new, 47 year old, saxophone student. Will is fantastic. An overall helpful and positive environment!
We have had such a great experience with The Music Lab in Folsom. The instructors are talented, professional, and encouraging, and the quality of instruction has been excellent. We’ve really appreciated the supportive environment they provide for students and would absolutely recommend them!
Our son is taking guitar lessons, the instructor has been great connecting with our son and motivating him to want to practice and improve.
Thank you, Mark, for such a nice review! We are always pleased to hear great feedback about our talented instructors here at Music Lab Folsom. Glad to have your son on his musical journey with us!
Just started Music Lab in Folsom. My child is having a blast learning piano from Will. He’s a wonderful teacher. Also, thanks to Kaitlin for helping me set everything up.
Hey, this is Steve from Music Lab. Thank you so much for your review! And I agree — we are very lucky to have both Will and Kaitlin!
It has been 18 months since our daughter began her violin lessons at Music Lab with Mr. Babak, and the experience has been nothing short of wonderful. His passion for music shines through in every class—he not only teaches technique but also shares the beautiful history and meaning behind each piece which made our daughter love Violin even more and we’ve seen her confidence and skill grow tremendously over the months. Mr. Babak’s joyful teaching style make learning both exciting and inspiring. It’s rare to find a teacher who combines expertise, kindness, and enthusiasm so effortlessly. Our daughter also attended Music Lab’s summer camp this year, and we were incredibly impressed by the entire team. Every instructor works with genuine passion and dedication, creating a warm, encouraging environment for the kids. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Babak and the entire Music Lab team for building such an amazing school and for nurturing young musicians. We are truly grateful for the impact you’ve had on our daughter’s musical journey.
Hi Prathyusha. Thank you for taking the time to write this amazing review! It’s feedback like this that helps us to know that all of our hard work is paying off. We’ll be sure to pass this along to Mr. Babak.
My kids have attended several summer camps at Music Lab and it is a week of the summer they now look forward to. Teacher Lizzy is so musically talented and such a joy with her students. She is encouraging in a way that allows kids to explore their creativity all while learning music. My kids started camp feeling a bit nervous but by the end of the week they left with confidence and smiles! I highly recommend Music Lab for kids of all ages and skill levels. Also, a huge shoutout to the owners Krissy & Steve who are always warm and inviting.
Thank you, Lydia, for this thoughtful review! We love having your talented kids around Music Lab Folsom. We're so glad to hear they enjoyed their time at camp and left feeling more confident. It’s always our goal to create a space where students can explore music and have fun doing it.
Our daughter attended piano lessons for about 1 year and several summer camps, she had a fantastic time with several different teachers and she learned so much. She really came out of her shell! The owners are so nice and easy to work with! We only stopped attending due to a move, and hope to find something similar in southern california!
Thank you so much - we love hearing about the extended benefits of music lessons! And we remember watching her brighten up at summer camp- especially the day we brought in our chocolate lab, Maddy! I know Brianna and Babak enjoyed teaching your daughter and she will be missed! BTW, I know SoCal is huge, but there are 2 (soon 3) Music Labs down there.
Both of my kids have taken music lessons at Music Lab in Folsom, and we’ve had a great experience. My son takes saxophone lessons, and my daughter takes trumpet and flute lessons. The instructors are great, and whenever we’ve needed help with scheduling or rescheduling the office team has been great too. We’re so happy we found Music Lab.
Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re so glad your son and daughter have been able to explore saxophone, trumpet, and flute here at Music Lab. It’s great to hear that both our instructors and office team have helped make the experience a positive one. We truly appreciate your support and love having your family as part of our community! — Steve & Krissy
Our kids had the best time at the summer camps this year. So much so that we ended up doing two of them! They loved the teachers and the staff, and I was truly surprised at how much they learned about music just from the Mini Musician Camp. My 6 year old ended the week with wanting to learn how to play the piano! We will definitely be back again next summer for more camps!
Thank you so much for your nice review. We loved having your sweet kids at 2 camps this summer! They were so kind and engaged!
