Used the boarding service while in town for a festival this summer and couldn't be happier with the service and affordability. Our pup was clearly fully cared for and happy as could be upon pick up! Thanks again myonly boarding! You'll be seeing us again next summer!
I've been taking Bandit here since I moved to Seattle and got my dog in 2021. My dog is a rescue and has never been great with stangers or other dogs. Although the treck to and from West Seattle can range in time from 45min to 2hrs I continuously being Bandit to Myownly because of the staff and the ability for him to spend time in an environment with grass, walks and pens not in an urban area. Over the years I always look at the facilities that exist in the Seattle area and most are group board and in industrial, closed facilities. Myownly knows my dog and understands his behavior and mannerisms and although he's always going to be a Velcro dog and be excited to come back home, I trust Andy, Jordan, and the whole team with him. From cold winter Christmas trip drop offs to hot summer stays, I know he'll be taken care off. My only feedback is they used to do report cards when you picked the dog back up, I wish they would do this again, it's helpful for me to know and be able to change any food, meds, etc. before my next visit.
The staff here is so welcoming. We've boarded our dog here at least 4 times. He can be suspicious and wary of new people but he seems to always love coming here.<br><br>It's very clean and in a peaceful setting with lots of room for walks and outdoor time.<br><br>Our last trip was 2 weeks over the holidays and they sent us home with a stocking for our little guy and some treats when we picked him up. Plus he came back walking better on a lead than ever before.
I took my dog to be groomed here and when I walked in I was given a contract that asked for my credit card information to authorize up to $500 of charges in case anything happened to my dog. I started to fill it out but then decided I really didn't feel comfortable with this so I asked for my dog back and canceled. The owner man and the receptionist laughed at me and treated me horribly instead of acting like a responsible business owner and compassionate person by respecting my wishes so I could leave and take my dog elsewhere. Instead, he refused to give me my dog back unless I gave him back the half filled out contract with my credit info on it. The whole point was that I didn't feel comfortable giving him this information but he still refused to give me my dog back. After some back and forth on this and thoughts of calling the police, I ended up scribbling out my info, tearing up the contract and giving it back to him. As I was getting ready to call the police, he finally gave me my dog back. What kind of person holds your dog hostage and laughs at you for not feeling comfortable with giving out your credit card information. I am SO glad I chose not to leave my dog with them. This is a terrible place to take your dog and I recommend staying as far away from them as possible! I made a formal complaint with the BBB after this. If you read other comments, you will see that they have killed a dog and given another dog back to their owner covered in urine and from what I was told by others, this just scratches the surface of unhappy people and bad things happening to their dogs. For the safety of your dog, please stay away from this place!

We are so grateful to have found Myownly Boarding Kennel! We had a family emergency and recently rescued a dog who is displaying some fear aggression with a bite history. They were open to meeting us and him, and were able to board him for a long weekend last minute. They went above and beyond to take care of our little guy and understood how to manage the risk, but were realistic about expectations. The owner and staff are truly exceptional.
